About 2002 or 2003 ago there were young men sitting around playing guitars awaiting a sign of some sort (or possibly a pizza). Suddenly it was mirrorball, because Matt Tex said so 2 years earlier, and they couldn't come up with anything else, and then 3 other blokes turned up, which helped. What are you doing in my flat? said one. so they went into a room to make tuneful psychedelic noise through the summer evenings and beyond. They headed out to do some gigs and seek their fortune. Eventually after 3.5 years of looking they decided to split off into two factions and go looking for it, X marks the spot and all that. They might even get back together one day if you lot stop being such wusses but remain friends and send each other myspace postcards.
