When I left the nest I had one thing in mind; A friend, a buddy a companion in life.
Searching through papers ignoring top breeds, I fell upon an ad which looked enticing to me.
“20 dollars!” it screamed, as I read on with glee. I fumbled through my pockets searching for money.
I was soon on my way to a small rural farm, when I arrived I was smothered with a small Puppies’ charm.
“She’s the last of the litter!” The farmer said with a draw. “I’ll take her, she's perfect and likes me afterall."
Car rides, walks and frosty paws, a zest for life, this dog had it all.
We walked through fire and played in the rain. Even though at times you could be such a pain.
Remember when we jogged 5 miles a day? We’d be out there on our own, just enjoying the day.
Grampa always surprised you with a nice tasty bone, it would always occupy you when you were left alone.
Then it happened one day, you were fighting to stay, to beat the illness and keep it at bay.
We fought a good battle and many of them we won, but reinforcements kept coming,
the damage couldn’t be undone.
That’s when we decided to rescue you from hell, to save you from the enclosure of that unfair cell.
I held you in my arms and soothed your fears,
releasing you from pain as your soul drew near,
leaving the binds of what held you so long,
leaving me without you, which felt so wrong.
But we’ll do it again, Just wait for me,
we’ll run with the breeze after I break free.
Wait for me buddy, when once again; You’ll be by my
Side; Man’s Best Friend.

Hiya! this is my collage of crap I've managed to conceive here on the web. Obviously I like Chicago Sports and by Chicago sports I'm not talking about the Sox. I'm a disgruntled Cubbies, Bears and Blackhawks fan. I pay some attention to the Bulls and I could care less about Soccer, Golf and Lacross. Not that I don't think they're interesting but there is only so much time I'm willing to invest in getting to know a game & its players.
I enjoy pushing myself to the limits and believe in looking and feeling the best that I can. I don't have patience for people on the road but I'm a fair guy outside of the car. I've got a big heart and I love dogs. My Dog (Shaman) has been my best friend since I picked her up 12 years ago when she was only 4 weeks old. I'm a Registered Nurse who graduated in May '06. I enjoy the positive feedback of someone when I've made their life a little better.
I'm warm blooded and can't sleep without a fan. I've lived in Bloomington/Normal my entire life but currently live with my girlfriend Elizabeth in Decatur. I'm going on 17 months with wonderful woman and veterinarian "Elizabeth" who knows how to make me smile. I welcome the addition of anyone who is halfway interesting and fun. So send me a message! That's why we're all here anyway right? Random reminders that there are millions of other people just as bored as I am when I'm surfing the net :P

It is unbelievable...that is a great word for it. I was blessed enough to receive scholarships for a lot of school...and I still owe that much! It's hard to think of all my friends/classmates who are from out of state or island students....the loan money is ridiculous. What gets me the most is that I am buying a house, and the student loans are going to be substantially more than the mortgage!!! Crazy...and stupid. I hope things change...
Oh, i bet she knows all too well....I just got the loan repayment in the mail today; I knew it would be bad, but not THAT bad. Well, who needs food, a little fun, a gym, etc. ? ;)

Hey sweetie, we had an awesome time with you all. Went waaaay to fast though. We all need to hang out more often. Sorry to hear you guys had a bad time coming back...sounds like flying out of St. Louis was the way to go. We are all sick with flippin colds and stuff. :p Where is the Warmth!
