Jools! Today it is raining and I've just had a sour nectarine. This is rubbish compared to yesterday when I got an iPhone and whipped cream on top of my coffee without having to ask.

I see you're a mistress of mirth. Tell me, are you a "mistress" in the sense of a sexually dominating female, or in the sense of a teacher of classical theology in a Victorian state school?

Or perhaps in a brand new sense. "Mis" comes to us from the Latin "minus", and when we talk of a long lock of hair, "tress" comes from Old French. Perhaps you're saying you like comedy and you're also going bald? That would be a shame. A terrible, terrible shame.
