A mix of alternative, rock, and funk. We like doin the upbeat thing, yet still try to keep it heavy and funky, and blend the structure and energy of punk with the guitar work of traditonal rock and funk.
Mirth Remedy, hailing from the Asheville, NC would have to be described as straight up mothafunkin' pure, raw, logistic sexfunk. The pop slappin' basslines, groovy drum grooves, and buttery fresh guitar lines all correlate and to discombobulate your brainwaves. Mirth Remedy wants to straight up funkify and groovify every last limb in your body, stinkin' up the clubs with the fresh bluesy grooves. Jelly Ellington on guitar, currently attending Berklee College of Music '12, Andrew Ellington, on the drizzumset, and our man Mr. Groove himself, Craig mothafunkin' Johnson on the bibbity bobbly bass.
