:::::: On the 25th of January, Swedish singer and songwriter Mirva released her debut album We're Here Now and then became the first musician in Sweden to release her album in the eco-friendly way, Mirva: "It's important now to take resonsibility on all levels, we must make it easier to be environmentally friendly in this world and create alternatives that won't cost us our future".The cover is made in Sweden with environmentally friendly cardboard and printed with vegetable based ink, Mirva now wants to help other independent musicians in Sweden to do the same: I think more independent artist would love to go the eco-friendly way in Sweden but they haven't known how to do it, now they have the option, hopefully me doing this will create a trend that lasts, that's the aim." ------------------------------------- After the release of the "Mirva- Limited Edition EP" recorded in 2005 and Mirva's song "Your Eyes" was chosen as theme music for a prize winning Film I Värmland- documentary, her trail of progress has been reflected through media on radio programs, compilation albums and in music magazines around Sweden, Mirva: "My album is the result of all the hard work I've made over the last few years. It feels really special, It's been a wonderful journey and I've met so many amazing people across the world that have helped me make this dream come true," she says and continues: That's why the album is called "We're Here Now", because through all the struggles and all the hard work, this is where I'm at, right here, with all other mortal beings." --------------------------------------- Besides being the singer and songwriter for the album, Mirva will also be the first in Sweden to release her album in an environmentally friendly packaging, and has called for a whole different journey. ; It's time to take action now on all levels on this earth, it has to be easier to be eco- friendly and we must help to create alternatives to make this world more sustainable. The video for Save Your Prayers is recorded in London by Australian Jason Burns. Jason has won a number of awards for his amazing skills in the trade and just recently picked up a PROMAX- award in the category "Best Theatrical Release Trailer" for his work with the film Lady Vengeance. Lady Vengeance is the third film in Korean Park Chanwook's revenge trilogy following "Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance" and "Oldboy". (More info about the film on www.ladyvengeancemovie.com.) Besides Jason's work in the film industry, he has also recorded a video for singer/songwriter Delta Goodrem, Mirva; It's wonderful to work with such a talent like Jason on this video, he is truly an amazing artist. Jason has got the ability to deliver magic in everything he does, under all circumstances. Since I've lived in Australia a great deal of my grown-up life, it's wonderful to be able to work with some Australians on the video and on the album and I feel very fortunate to have them in my team! ..
