mischief and mayhem theatre was founded in june 2005 by michelle kennedy and natasha lewis over a pitcher of bellini's and a bucket of inspiration!
m&m is about as independant as a company can get. we rely on donations from friends, family and companies that we feel best support
our production ethics. we get no cash from the government right now and we're a-ok with that...unfortunately michelle has big plans for big spectacles and may end up asking the afa for a little bit of cash afterall...
right now it looks like this:
michelle kennedy-artistic director
natasha lewis-artistic associate
kelsie acton-general manager/production manager

well folks, big spectacles are afoot.
we're in pre-production for our 3rd show...yay! we're mounting an ambitious adaptation of Alfred Jarry's 1896 classic, Ubu Roi. This time we're getting all gross and burlesque about it. Choreographed by the brilliant Nick Green and directed by Artistic Director Michelle with original music by local pop giants Illfit Outfit, this show is going to SLAY!
september 27-30 at avenue skatepark (118ave and 90st!)! come! come prepared to get drunk and rowdy and have the best time you've had a play in a long long time. no sitting quietly, no napping...just partying along with some gorgeous ladies!
in other news co-founder natasha lewis has flew the coup off to victoria and we're sorry to see her go. sad times. BUT it's all gravy for her...she's near the ocean and (hopefully) writing up a storm. we miss her!
