Mischka is a Rock'n'Roll band based in Lyon.
Fabien Gianina starts the band alone in 2000 recording songs with his four-tracks at home.
The first titles sounds like new wave artyfacts, maybe because of the basic TR505 drum machine or the cold tone of his voice.
Inspired by The Velvet Underground, Joy Division and the NYC sound, he writes a dozen of song and goes out the first Ep "On the right track" in 2002.
Since 2003, the band is formed and give few gigs.
The band records a 5 tracks demo in october 2005 produced by François Lemonon who plays the bass in Vegas Hookers and sings in many local bands (Thirsty Selenits band, Les Hulks, Big Love & Heartbreakers...).
In 2006 Mischka records four news tracks you can listen to on that page : Daytime, Happy & clean, Baby wired, So much kind and plans to record a complete LP in 2007.
In spite of the different members who worked with the band, the sound and the influences are still the same : late 70's british nothern pop, bands from New York, 60's punk... And whatever you'll think about it !!!

popswirl sort de sa réserve et organise deux soirs de concert, histoire de se faire plaisir et de se retrouver. Alors ami de la première heure de Popswirl soit le bienvenu. Attention il faut venir à 20h pour de vrai car les concerts commenceront à 20h15 tapantes.
De retour de leur tournée en Angleterre, pour la sortie de leurs deux nouveaux CD; "Hate OUPUPO songs" et "Solution irritation", ils s'arrêtent à Lyon. A ne pas manquer!!! PAF dégressif + une conso offerte!!!
