Sounds Like
I sound like how I sound.....bringing nothing but real hip-hop from my heart
On January 21, 1979, Misery was born. Always drawn to music, at 15 years old he took his love for hip-hop music to a whole new level. Looked at by his family and peers as a creative person, he used his creativity to start aspiring to make the music he had loved the more he listened to it: Hip-Hop. He has since been making beats for the past 7 years; really coming into his own in the last two. Misery is also a poet, writing poetry since he was 12 years old. His start in poetry was, and still is, attributed to hip-hop music. Misery has one goal in mind: to express himself through his crafts, music and poetry, because his love for hip-hop keeps him striving to further the art truthfully and realistically, something he feels very few people in hip-hop still try to do. Misery's music is not to be mistaken as 'sugar-coated', 'commercial', or 'radio-friendly'. The result of Misery's efforts is the sound and style that made him love hip-hop in the first place, the sound and style that represents hip-hop in its purest, most beautiful form: the rugged, soulful, hardcore, reality-driven, street sound. To listen to Misery's music is to take a step back to the foundation of hip-hop.....a refreshing reminder that there's still people out there who subscribe to the REALNESS; best believe Misery is one of them, and will always represent the true essense of Hip-Hop music.
