Bio:
Misery Machine sprang to life nearly a decade ago, out of sheer love of Doom and Melodic Death Metal. Founding member Adam Lee had been writing dark themed, heavy, sludgy music for many years and decided that it was time to release this work upon like-minded music fans.
After going through several band members and releasing several EPs, Lee finished writing and recording the Misery Machine album, Epiphany. To finish things up, Lee recruited guitarist C.S.P. to do the lead guitar work for the album, as well as narration on the intro track, Nocturna Rising.
After finalizing the tracks and artwork for Epiphany, distribution channels were found and utilized to release the album. Epiphany will be released via major online retail locations in late April / Early May and through Kunaki.com on March 10th.
Epiphany will also be available for digital download through all major retail download spots (i-tunes, e-music, etc.) in Late April / Early May.
Epiphany combines a dark, heavy, sludgy Doom Metal style atmosphere with growled vocals and deep, low melodic singing. Fast, melodic, often quite technical lead guitar work is employed throughout the entire album. Lyrics are focused upon concepts such as suffering and loss.
Misery Machine / Adam Lee welcomes small / cult label interest. Contact can be made through MySpace and will be graciously answered as quickly as possible.
