Misfire are a 5 piece rock band from Devonport. They formed in 2005 as a result of a conversation in a home economics class. With Stevie Lawrence on lead guitar, Declan Vertigan on rhythm, Ben Saunders on bass and Addison Davis on drums/vocals the band decided to call on Connor Lizotte to become the front man for the group. With the addition of Connor, the band quickly developed and started writing original material influenced by bands such as The Foo Fighters, Letter Kills, Karnivool and After the Fall.
All members are currently in year 10 at Reece High School where they won the school rock challenge in 2007 and then represented the school at the North West Rock Challenge heat.
