Misfyre was founded by Alex (Lead Guitar) and Jack (Vocals, Guitar). There were a few changes in the line-up, until in spring 2006 Michi (Bass Guitar) and Ali (Drums) joined the band.
The last two years a lot of Shows were done and so the Guys were able to show that they are an important part of the Underground Scene. The present Highlight in the band’s History was a gig, supporting the German Fun Metal band J.B.O. at a completely sold out Rockhouse in Salzburg.
It’s difficult to explain the music from Misfyre cause it always changes between Heavy-, Trash- and Powermetal and also elements of Hardrock. So just call it Metal.
A Misfyre Live Show is honoured of maximum Power and Energy, which animates the Crowd to bang their Heads.
In summer 2007 the band recorded their first Demo EP „Nothing should remain“, which contains four Tracks and got a lot of recognition.
On 30.12.2008 Misfyre released their second EP (euphoric marchin..the way).
By now Misfyre rocked the stage for 41 times.
Until march 2010 the band will not play live gigs because ali stays in Latvia for the rest of the year. However the other guys of the band use the time for writing new stuff to destroy the stages in 2010!
