| General | Travel, music of course, sessions, music festivals... | | Music | Celtic, old time, cajun and ragtime. I wish I could play gypsy or at least some Django Reinhardt. I play fiddle and dink around on the guitar, mandolin, tin whistle, flute and concertina. I would love to learn how to play clawhammer style banjo, bazouki, piano, hammered dulcimer...my list would go on forever.

About me:
I live to play music. Most of all, I love going to sessions and sessioning with new people.
Great Sessions in Western Wisconsin:
Houghton's Pub (Irish) -- La Crosse. Wednesday around 8:30 pm until whenever. ***Pub burnt to the ground on the 14th of March***This session is now held at The Class of of '68 on 13th and Denton***
Jules Coffee (Old Time) --La Crosse. Every 3rd Thursday of the month, 7:00 - whenever...usually around 9ish.
Driftless Cafe (Irish)-- Viroqua. Tuesday, 6:30/7:00ish pm - 9:00 pm.
Old Oak Inn (Old Time)-- Soldier's Grove. Thursdays 6:00 pm until about 9-10:30.
I play in a duo with my good friend Matthew Duckett. We've been playing together for quite a while. I would like to say thanks to him because if it weren't for him, I'd probably would still be playing classical and hating it or not playing at all. Watching him grow and become better at his instrument/s has always been encouraging for me to become better with mine. Thanks Matt! I enjoy playing with ya!
