A POEM AND THOUGHT FOR THE WEEKEND...XOXO

LOVE'S REFLECTION

I met a man
Who knew not love
'Pon my travel's way,
Could not give
Could not feel,
Heavy, this did weigh.

Why be it
Love doth not rest,
Within this heart of mine?
Tell me friend
Tell me true,
What fate am I assigned?

Empty is the heart that sighs
Seeking self compassion,
Lost within one's own reflection;
Demise, if love we ration.

Look within the depths of self
Of love, one must construe,
You'll never find another's heart;
If all you see is you.

A POEM TO SHARE..

STAY TILL THE MORNING

Stay till the morning
Burns your eyes,
Stay till the lies
Find their demise,
Stay till remorse
Drifts 'way 'pon the tide,
Stay my sweet lady
Come lay by my side.

Thy breaths be as the rushing waves
Billows of stifled delight,
Eyes that capture, engulf and enslave
Unto this night let our passions ignite.

Stay till the morning
Attests to the fire,
Stay till the hunger
Taunts all desire,
Stay till thy body
Screams from thy core,
Stay my sweet lady
All sins we'll explore.

Like puppets slumped, unfettered by chains
Crumpled, expended and worn,
Bodies depleted reach out in vain
And pray for the promise of another morn.

HERE'S TO THE WEEK AHEAD....

MORNING'S RECALL

Oh my sweet beauty, fall into dreams
Fall into dreams of desire,
Naked thy body urges me near
As breaths now billow like fire.

Feel me surround you, feel me explore you
Allow mine eyes implore,
This jaunt doth call as night begins
Unto thine essence my soul now soars.

Into thine ears, a promise whispered
A warmth to caress thy soul,
Upon thy lips, a moment enchanted
A kiss that seeks to extol.

Ascend from 'pon thy bed of dreams
As flesh melds in arousal's rage,
Attest the beauty of fervent lust
Rapture relinquished, 'pon satin's stage.

Oh my sweet beauty, awake unto dreams
Commend this promise of flight,
In dreams I'll explore you, tantalise and taunt you
Let morning recall night's delight.

TOO SICK TO DO ANYTHING THIS WEEKEND....SO I MIGHT AS WELL WRITE SOME POETRY...SMILE

WINDOWS TO THE SOUL

I gazed into thine emerald sea
Awash in starlit beams,
I saw my soul, dancing free
Within this dream supreme.

I gazed into the depths of you
A cosmos of love divine,
I saw my being, wholly imbued
In the glory of whom I call mine.

I gazed into the aura within
Caressing thine heart's gentle beat,
I saw my life truly begin
You, have made me complete.

Upon the sands of time we'll stroll
Together, till dawn draws nigh,
I saw this journey, deep in my soul;
Just looking into your eyes.

A POEM TO SHARE, HAVE A BEAUTIFUL WEEKEND....

AN IMPOSSIBLE DILEMMA
I'm drowning in emotion, submerged in pain
This quest doth cause my heart's anguish,
Release from my mind's flow, this burden, this bane
Or forever in vexation shall I perish.

Have we not reached and touched the stars
Challenged God, in persuit of perfection,
Have we not found, who we are
Though at times refute the reflection.

Have we not tamed her tempest to ease
Though she'll forever be master of man,
Of nature's assendance, have we not appeased
When united and join forth our span.

Oh poets of yore, I yearn for thy flair
Please help me expand and construe,
Of mankind's progression, let the world be aware;
We have never improved on...."I love you!"

Here's the lyrics to WOMAN WAS HER NAME.....

WOMAN WAS HER NAME (lyrics)
Category: Music
Behind each man of glory.....
behind each man of fame
Behind each man who worked the soil.....
was a strength that fired his flame
Behind each man in history.....
stood the reason....he became
Behind each man...stood faith and love...
and woman was her name.

She's walked with him 'cross mountains...
she's trudged with him 'cross plains
She's followed him to hell and back...
Yeah woman was her name
Yeah woman was her name

Yes history shows.....
that behind each man she stood
A woman's love can make a man....
be everything he should.
Yes....a woman's love can make a man
Yes any man stand tall
From kings to clowns....black or brown....
She stood beside them all

She's walked with him 'cross mountains...
she's trudged with him 'cross plains
She's followed him to hell and back...
Yeah woman was her name
Yeah woman was her name

She has paid the price of time....to stand beside her man
Years of pain and years of toil......now we understand....
History...they got it wrong.......for she was not behind
She was right beside her man.....matching every stride

She's walked with him 'cross mountains...
she's trudged with him 'cross plains
She's followed him to hell and back...
Yeah woman was her name
Yeah woman was her name

She's walked with him 'cross mountains...
she's trudged with him 'cross plains
She's followed him to hell and back

a poem to share...

THE FINAL TEAR
'Twas on a midnight's eerie call
As shadows danced upon the wall,
When children slept and mothers wept
Lovers lied, old men died.
Transfixed upon my bed of dreams
Within my lungs a tortured scream,
Upon her cheek a teardrop shed
A face long gone, a face long dead.

'Twas on a sultry Summer's dawn
In play upon the lush green lawn,
Where children sprawled and mothers called
Lovers kiss, old men reminisce.
Transfixed upon her beauty fair
'Twas there declared my fervent prayer,
Upon this face, I pray to gaze
Until my soul , doth end it's days.

'Twas on an afternoon in June
My heart did sing, my soul did spoon,
Where children cried and mothers decide
Lovers pray, old men decay.
Transfixed behind glass walls I stare
This fruit of loins, such golden hair,
A tear fell that would fill the seas
Ne'er had my heart, 'ere felt such glee.

'Twas on a starlit Springtime night
Upon our life we did delight,
Where children forget and mothers regret
Lovers recall, old men enthrall.
Transfixed within thy gaze, thy charms
As memories unfold in loving arms,
A moment in time, locked in our eyes
Nightingale's sang, beneath lover's skies.

'Twas on a Wintery dismal dawn
Within my soul all life was drawn,
Where children sat and mothers chat
Lovers grasp, old men gasp.
Transfixed above her eternal sleep
In clay so foul, bemired, deep,
From my breast a sigh was torn
Ne'er do I wish another dawn.

'Twas on a midnight's eerie call
As shadows danced upon the wall,
When children slept and mothers wept
Lovers lied, old men died.
Transfixed upon my bed of dreams
Within my heart a tortured scream,
Upon my lips I feel her tear
No longer I cry, for love is near.

HUNGER'S DESIRE

My want is a hunger
In thy dreams I prowl
Tinkling designs of desire;
Silently stroking, inhaling the warmth
Secreted from night's passion's fire.

My want is a craving
A need to explore
Complexities the soul disallows;
Harness not passion, rein not thy lust,
Complexities I disavow.

Contained within thy dreams, submit;
Splay thy soul's desire,
Harvest all, within mind's quest
Disrupt not this raging fire.

My want is a hunger
In thy dreams I prowl
Tasting the fruits of desire;
Silently seeking, searching to find
All my existance requires.

TO ALL THE NAUGHTY NIGHTS.....smile

Smiling she beckons
Caressed by the light,
Softly she whispers
Come taste my delight.

Sumptuously suggestive
She geatures come hither,
Serenaded by hearts beat
To her side do I slither.

Smouldering emotions
Burst into night,
So sweet is her taste
My flame doth ignite.

Sinuous her body
We entwine as if one,
Coitus ecstacy
This jaunt has begun.

Ravenous passion
Screams right to the core,
Repress no emotions
Oh how I adore.

Thank you for everything you're doing on behalf of the Go Research Fund to help raise awareness and funding for Ovarian Cancer! It's an honor to be involved with you and this project.

In addition to a dear comedy friend of mine losing his wife to this disease, I support this cause because I was immensely influenced by the comedic genius of Gilda Radner. Her talents and determination touched the lives of millions, and in a way her spirit lives on in me.

Love & laughs,

A PARTING POEM...AWAY FOR A WEEK....XOXOXOX

HER EYES
I've felt the pleasures of a woman's trace
The taste of her lips have brought me to bare,
Kissed her sweet honey, have drowned in her grace
Bathed in her beauty, radiance so rare.
Feasted 'pon ambrosia, fare of the gods
Drowned in grapes nectar, did Baccas incite,
Witnessed more treasures abundant than Fafds'
'Been lost in passion of night's sweet invite.
But ne'er have such eyes 'er touched me within
Held my soul deep, in the depths of their gaze,
Promised such pleasure, accompanied by sin
Brought forth a flame, that did burst forth in blaze.
Her name doth remain, locked within my breath
But her eyes, Oh God!....I'd entertain death.

my new lyrics, if you know anyone that can add music to it, send 'em my way....smile

I HAVE LOVED A WOMAN
There will come that day when I'll stand at Heaven's door
Knock three times and pray that I am not ignored
And if the door is opened and St Peter smiles at me
I will thank one person whose heart was Heaven's key.

They tell me there's one question St Peter will always say
How did you find your way to Heaven ...yes how did you find your way

I have loved a woman who loved me all through life
Cried with me through heartaches held me tight through strife
Helped the child within me to seek and understand
I have loved a woman whose love made me a man.

And when St Peter calls me in to pass through Heaven's door
I will have to say to him... St Pete I must implore
I have loved a woman whose heart was Heaven's key
Here I'll stand and here I'll wait till she stands here with me

I have loved a woman who loved me all through life
Gave to me all she could give this woman was my wife
I have loved a woman whose heart was Heaven's key
I have loved and I will love for all eternity

I have loved a woman whose love made me a man
Helped the child within me to seek and understand
I have loved a woman whose heart was Heaven's key
Here I'll stand and here I'll wait till she stands here with me

Yes here I'll stand and here I'll wait till she comes back to me.

here comes the weekend.....live, laugh and love

Born of fire and kissed by the winds
'Pon scented breath I now do dance,
Blessed by gods of love divine
Succumbed have I to this glorious trance.

Soaring 'pon wings of emotions surreal
Brushed by the warmth of an angel's glow,
Caught in the flame that did bear my soul
Of passion I hunger, as the fire doth grow.

Oh woman thy body ignites passion's flame
Thine eyes brand the soul with raging desire,
Lips full of hunger, wonder and wile
I'm consumed in thy beauty, come burn in my fire.

A POEM TO SHARE

MAGICAL MOMENTS
Softly the morning enters my eyes
And offers your beauty to me,
Softly the breezes whisper your name
A sound of such sweet melody.

Softly a sigh captures my heart
Holding such love, deep within,
Softly the morning enters my eyes
Magical moments begin.

Bring on the sunshine or bring on the rain
Bring on the laughter, or bring on the pain,
Bring on each moment and hold deep within
Magical moments begin.

Gently I kiss the sleep from your eyes
Sweet are the dreams they have seen,
Gently the morning touches your face
A beauty so tender, serene.
Gently the sunlight brings forth a glow
Touching the gold of your hair
Gently our heart's sing, beating as one
Magical moments so rare.

Bring on the magic that love has to give
Bring on the mornings, in magic we live,
Bring on each moment and hold deep within,
Magical moments begin.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND..XOXOXO
A Droplet Of Dew

A droplet of dew burst 'pon my brow
Jolting an awakening from dreams I disavow,
The odour of passion wafts through the air
As I try to take stock, this jounce so unfair.

Flickering half light of burning embers
Encourage flashes to help me remember,
I felt her skin so velvety warm
Moistened from pleasures passionately performed.

Moonlight smothered this beautiful creature
As my eyes surveyed her wonderous features,
In restless slumber her body gestures
Movements erotic in perfect rapture.

I stumble in thoughts of hours long passed
This encounter of passion, how long did it last?
Was she a dream, is my mind all askew,
Was I awoken by a droplet of dew?

our 25th anniversary today....though I'd share a love poem with my favoutie ladies...XOXOXO

MY MICHELLE, MY LOVE, MY LIFE.
You are my inspiration, the light within my soul
From the moment I first saw you, my heart and love you stole,
You have been my rock to cling to, when the storms of life did sound
Long ago, would I have fallen, were you not around.
You are the pounding in my heart, the sigh upon my breath
You are this man's eternal flame, to glow, even 'pon death
Within your eyes I see a man, who holds life's greatest prize
True love sparkles back at me, eyes can never lie.
You have been my life forever, for forever began with you
We will walk together, forever together it's true
For within two hearts that beat as one, lies a love that spans all time
We have a lifetime, a lifetime to love, just place your hand in mine.
We may walk on many a path, throughout this life we share
Many a path will be littered with heartache, sometimes so hard to bare,
But while your hand is clasped in mine, my strength will be as steel
Never doubt this love eternal, my love and words are real.
Happy 25th Anniversary sweetheart, I love you with all that I am.

Don't ya just hate it when your love is away....aaaahhhh

RETURN TO ME
O love sweet love, this distance I curse
Each moment be death to my heart,
This pain doth not cease, these eyes find no sleep
'Tis anguish when we are apart.
Wretchedness be mine only guest
Till my arms feel your warmth once more,
For you are the essence that nurtures my soul
Hasten thy return I implore.
Searched have I within evenings sky
No star compares to your eyes so bright,
I've feasted 'pon ambrosia, cherished by gods
Yet naught doth compare to your sweet lips delight.
Flickering firelight animates night
Your face I do see in its glow,
Your scent's carried gently, softly on breeze
This morn be no haven, for time moves so slow.
Harken thee angels, please heed my cry
To her heart, take my love this I plea,
For a moment without love, is a moment without life
To my arms, please return her to me.

MY EVERYTHING
I'm the dove softly cooing
At spring's temperate dawn
Ushering lovers unite,
I'm the rustling winds
That sing to the swan
Beneath her wings in flight.

I'm the raindrop that falls
And kisses the seed
Awakening life from her spell,
I'm the earth's giving waters
Forever to bleed
Your thirsts I'll forever quell.

I'm the light in your darkness
An endless flame
Consumed in passion's desire,
I'm the sun's blazing essence
Naught dare to tame
Touch, come tender the flame.

I'm the song that you hear
Resounding thy name
Naked and raw it cries,
I'm the silence that echoes
This need to proclaim,
Who be the watcher,
Who be I?

Lift me 'pon your wings of dreams
Bleed this heart that springs anew,
Take heed my cry
Take heed my scream,
I'm everything but nothing,
I'm everything but nothing,
I'm everything but nothing
Without you.

Hold on to the Past
Hold on tightly to the past
For every yesterday was a today,
Love and laughter in your life
Memories, you can't take away.

Like your first touch of falling rain
Splashing 'pon your face,
How fresh and clean it left your world
Memories, you can't replace.

Laughing loudly at the clowns
Their antics seemed so strange,
Falling down upon the sand
Memories, you wouldn't exchange.

Hold on tightly to the past
For every yesterday was a today,
Love and laughter in your life
Memories, you can't take away.

Like the first time you felt her body near
Her soft and tender embrace,
A promise, you saw deep in her eyes
Memories, you can't replace.

Holding your child for the very first time
How it felt so strange,
Their little faces smiling back
Memories, you wouldn't exchange.

Each day is a joy rembering your life
Memories you can't take away,
Hold on to the now and cherish the past,
Every yesterday was a today.
