About me: I HOLD BOTH ONE TO ONE AND GROUP CLASSES IN BURLESQUE CABARET AND SENSUAL STRIPTEASE INCLUDING TASSELING AND FAN DANCEING.
Honey moon is your tutor. She has been teaching burlesque in Brighton for many years and has seen many of her pupils go on to be regulars on the Burlesque circuit. A performer herself she know what she's talking about, and will help you develope your confidence as well as improve how you feel about yourself, mind body and soul, in an easy going fun environment. The classes are put in sections below so you can pick and choose as to what you feel you need to learn. So ladies pick up your heels and come along. All classes are held in Brighton. Boas gloves and fans will be supplied for you during the class, please wear heels and skirt or a dress for the class.
An intensive day class for Private Classes, small parties and groups
Burlesque moves incorporating the use of feather boa
glove removal, several different ways
The beautiful art of fan dancing, with large ostrich fans
Retro hair and make up styles lesson
Striptease techniques, learn to undress elegantly to music, don't worry you wont end up starkers by any means.
Trying on and leaning to move in a corset.
Learning to dance gracefully, removing the corset to your music
Using props such as a chair, hat, and parasol in a routine
Facial expressions (yes they are very important part of a good show)
tasseling lesson, including how to make your own.
Using the bra set you have to make basic costume, (I have trimmings) explaining the best pieces of music to use and why. Finally put together what you have learnt and turning it into your very own Burlesque routine.

Beginning today, September 20, 2009, at 12noon EST all members are invited to update and add festival content to their profile and be paid for their efforts. George "The Administrator" of BurlesqueCommunity.com who made appearances at both events announced the promotion at the conclusion of last night’s performance in Montreal. He said, “Our support of Burlesque Performers is one of both time and money.” He added, “Based on the current membership of the site this promotion represents another US$2,700 commitment and one that will be beneficial for the entire community.”
BurlesqueCommunity.com will pay, via PayPal, to each member of the site a participation fee as per the following: festival videos = $1.00 ea., festival photographs = $0.10 ea., photos of a performer holding a BurlesqueCommunity canvas tote bag = $2.00ea., referral of a new performer not already listed = $5.00.
Rule & Guidelines: All submissions must be directly related to burlesque performance, modeling or production, must not be duplicates or previously uploaded items or other’s copyrighted material and must be uploaded no later that 6pm EST September 25, 2009.
