About me: My name is Katherine Helen Werhner and I was born in Long Island New York. My Mother working as a Beautition and my Father a drummer in a band. Thats where I came from originally.
Then my Mother and I moved to a town called Sandpoint. Sandpoint Idaho or, "Gods Country" is where I was raised throughout my teen life. What a beautiful place to grow up. Crystal clear lakes, rivers, lush mountains, completly breathtaking...
After graduating High school I moved on the only way I knew how. I joined the Army and began a carreer in Signal, running phone lines and cables. I traveled more that I ever thought I would. I lived in Germany, traveled around Europe, then proceeded my voyage to the Middle East. Couple years later moved on over to Kansas where I had completed my 4 years of service.
I then moved to Portland to use my GI Bill for College. I attended Portland Community College for 2 years, moved around the city a bit and took it all in.
I then moved back home to Idaho and have been here since. It has been a year now in my cute little abode and 7 feet of snow. I am now ready to move on and get back to buisness.
I am now moving back to Portland to go to East-West College of the Healing Arts to become a licenced Massage Therapist. A career in massage therapy will get me in the direction of creating a healthy lifestyle for myself. Surrounding myself with others who are pursuing the same.
Professionally It will foster a connection with peoples spirits thorough the channel of the physical body. I could turn it into a stepping stone for further careers; such as acupuncture, chiropractics, reflexology, or anything that has to do with natural healing through the physical body and the spirit there within.
So here I am trying to take in every moment I can with my family and the beautiful mountains and lake, while very excited to start my new path in life.
