there is this book that you lent me in either 5th or 6th grade. my mom wouldn't let me finish reading it because it was deemed "too adult" (and may or may not have been - it did feel rather risque at the time). i can't remember the title, but i'd like to finish it now. the only thing i remember is that the narrator/main character didn't use last names, only initials. i think her name was alice b. or something... anyway, if you remember, please let me know. i'd love to get to finish it.
