BURLESQUE
An award-nominated artiste (MoB Awards 2007 Finalist - Best Newcomer) Daiquiri Dusk is one of Scotland's sassiest starlets. Graduating this year with an M/A (Hons) in Theatre, Film & Television Studies from Glasgow University, she is now performing and running her accessories company full-time. Daiquiri is an established performer, with a background in theatre (10 years performance experience) and highland dance (15 years experience). She has entertained a plethora of clients at public events, club nights, charity fundraisers, festivals and corporate parties as well as appearing in numerous short films and on television.
Having trained with the Academy of Burlesque & Cabaret, Daiquiri offers her own take on burlesque - cutesy cheesecake at its best, incorporating a range of acts which include strip-teasing, tassel twirling, fan-dancing, highland dancing and balloon popping.

MODELLING
Daiquiri began modelling in 2007 with a shoot for several of the national Scottish newspapers. Favouring retro, burlesque and pin-up style modelling, Daiquiri is a regular at Dr Sketchy Scotland events. She has also done hair modelling for TIGI International and shot for pinupgirlclothing.com last year. Early 2008 saw Daiquiri shooting for Joyce Paton Corsetry (See main photo: copyright John Baikie, MUA - Tracy Kane). In June 2008, Daiquiri joined forces with Joyce & Tracy once more, to create a burlesque-inspired group performance for Hatwalk 2008 Fashion Show in Edinburgh.

When she's not performing or crafting, Daiquiri is an avid writer. Having written for qmunicate, the QM magazine from 2003 - 2008, she worked as Music Editor from Jan - Dec 2007.
