Queer gender bending Drag Fag i.Kandi always had an interest in subverting gender but was pigeon holed as a tom boy growing up.
Began performing boy drag in 2002 with the infamous Sexy Galexy, including shows at Pride NYE 2002 and the Mardi Gras Party in 2003. Started playing with the constraints of gender identity as an uber blonde bombshell named i.Kandi at Bad Dog parties around the same time. There was even a Fan Club set up by one fan with tshirts!
i.Kandi took some time off but came back with a vengeance in late 2006 to commence an ass shaking, leg spreading tour de force. Performing at Mardi Gras 2007 and Queer Central at the Sly Fox, to name a few, i.Kandi's shows must be seen to be believed....
