Jesus is my number one interest above all else! HE IS MY LORD AND SAVIOR! :) I also love my family and friends and I do my best to keep my priorities straight. I'm a hard core conservative, and pro-life. Some of the many ministries and organizations that I support, and advocate for, include: The Monthly Call for Life Campaign, The Hope Clinic, A Friend's House, and The House of Hope (just to name a few!). I am always trying to do better at using my gifts for the Lord; volunteering, helping, fundraising, blogging, and laboring for what is right - especially for faith, family, and LIFE!! I love Christian music. It's all I really listen to. I've added a lot of them to my friends list including; Barlow Girl, Britt Nicole, Casting Crowns, Steven Curtis Chapman, David Crowder Band, FFH, Brandon Heath, KJ-52, Kutless, Toby Mac, Mandisa, Mercy Me, Newsboys, Out of Eden, Rebecca St. James, Michael W. Smith, Sonicflood, Superchick, Zoegirl, and the list goes on. Just check my friends list for a lot of great artists! These artists are only some of my many favorites. My ULTIMATE FAVORITE is Jeremy Camp! He has such a heart and passion for the Lord and it shows! The music and lyrics of his songs really helps me feel closer to God. Little House on the Prairie and Full House are my favorites!! I also like other classics like Family Matters and Home Improvement. Also, my husband got me hooked on the Dukes of Hazzard. Before my husband introduced me to the Dukes (I really had never seen a full episode). We went to Dukesfest in TN in June of 2006. We saw the cast, but didn't get to meet them all. We waited six hours just to meet John Schneider. If we would have realized that the wait was that long, we would have never got in line (we had the kids with us and they were pretty little and it was so hot!!). But after waiting a couple hours, stepping out would have been like throwing all that time away, so we just kept waiting. The wait was very trying, especially since it was very warm and we were beyond exhausted. But, John Schneider was GREAT! He was pretty much in the same boat too, being that he wasn't even feeling well. Yet, he stuck it out for the fans. WHAT A GUY!!! It was all worthwhile then. We even got our picture taken with him. Books
The Bible is the only book I consistently read. Also, I love "The Chronicles of Narnia" by C.S. Lewis (CLASSIC and BEAUTIFUL must reads!!!). Additionally, I have recently read "Calm My Anxious Heart" by Linda Dillow and "The Shack" by William P. Young (THAT IS A MUST READ FOR EVERYONE!!!!). Another good book is "Gianna: Aborted...and Lived to Tell About It" - which is a story about Gianna Jessen (we named our daughter after her....watch Gianna's testimony below).Heroes
JESUS ABOVE ALL ELSE!!! He's my TRUE hero. Though, I do have admiration and respect for my other brothers and sisters in Christ who have a committed faith and live to serve the King. :) I also admire the character of my husband, and the purity and innocence of children, especially mine (visit my YouTube page to see funny and touching videos of my kids: http://www.youtube.com/user/melissaforlife777) My son has really inspired me and changed my views on a lot of things. He's hearing impaired, and while that may seem like a burden to some, it has never been a stumbling block to him. Every child is valuable and disabilities don't make disposable or unworthy. Praise God for the down-syndrome and other disabled people of this world who remind us that we are so blessed and that we should do with what we got as they do. Often times, they surpass us! No doubt that they, who are last in the world's eyes, are FIRST in God's eyes! You can learn a lot from these people and from children. Jesus wants us to have that "child-like faith" and humble ourselves like them. Children don't complicate things. They see things as they are and life is simple to them. If only we could be as pure and uncontaminated as children! We all need that kind of unconditional love and faith.

Above all else; Jesus Christ face to face on that glorious day!! :) At least I am glad that I have a relationship with Him NOW so that I CAN meet Him later!! We are all going to meet Him, but only the ones who know Him NOW will get to BE WITH HIM forever when the last day comes!! Do you know Him? If you don't, talk to me and I will introduce you to Him!! It would also be great to meet Saundra, Cheri, Vanessa, Adry, Joel and Kristi, and many of my other online friends whom I love and adore!! And, I would STILL love to meet MIKE HUCKABEE!!!!!!! Other than that, I have met many of the people I truly love knowing - my husband, my family, my friends, and my church family. I'm just happy to meet more people who are looking to have strong friendships - especially other brothers and sisters in Christ. I love people who have a sweet and peaceful spirit and who are encouraging and positive (in other words, if you're a bully and like to judge and condemn, find someone else to harass because I am not a doormat and will not put up with it!). I'm also the type of person who likes to help people. I am more than happy to talk and listen to you; as well as pray for you!! me.. I been on paxil 2 weeks now and I guess its ok I havent had panic attacks but my anxiety is literally throught the roof it has been at its highest EVER this whole week I cant sleep, I have headaches daily everyday, worried, anxity 24/7, cannotget the thouts outta my head no matter how hard I try, I'm afraid to go to bed fear of me not waking this is the most its ever been.. I had a therapy appt monday but had just layed down so its rescheduled for next monday and I need this to go away I cannot deal with this anymore its literally taken over my thoughts its all I can think about and its not like I want to think of it, IF I could I would think about ANYTHING ELSE besides these thoughts and worries and things that are causing me such anxiety.
it is SO bad I have literally considered becoming an alcoholic, cutting myself I just cant deal with this anymore.
my mom thinks apparently its funny the other day she says to me' ooh Ill give you anxiety' thinking its funny and itsreally not this IS a serious problem its a serious issue for me in my life its the cause of most of my anxiety and panic/anxiety attacks.
do you know how easy my life would be if I didnt have to suffer through al this??
sorry for venting on your comments but I just had to vent to you.
I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU and I hope things are well if not better at least a lil bit more manageable.
