Jesus is my number one interest above all else! HE IS MY LORD AND SAVIOR! :) I also love my family and friends and I do my best to keep my priorities straight. I'm a hard core conservative, and a big political and pro-life activist. Some of the many ministries and organizations that I support, and advocate for, include: American Life League, The Monthly Call for Life Campaign, The Hope Clinic, A Friend's House, and The House of Hope (just to name a few!). I am always trying to do better at using my gifts for the Lord; volunteering, helping, fundraising, blogging, and laboring for what is right - especially for faith, family, and LIFE!!

I love Christian music. It's all I really listen to. I've added a lot of them to my friends list including; Barlow Girl, Ray Boltz, Britt Nicole, Building 429, Carman, Casting Crowns, Steven Curtis Chapman, David Crowder Band, FFH, Jars of Clay, KJ-52, Kutless, Toby Mac, Mandisa, Newsboys, Out of Eden, Rebecca St. James, Michael W. Smith, Sonicflood, Superchic[k], Zoegirl, and the list goes on. Just check my friends list for a lot of great artists! These artists are only some of my many favorites. My ULTIMATE FAVORITE is Jeremy Camp! He has such a heart and passion for the Lord and it shows! The music and lyrics of his songs really helps me feel closer to God. They are prayers from his heart, and definitely the types of prayers from my heart too. (His wife, Adie Camp, is WONDERFUL TOO! Check them out on my top friends list).

Also, my husband got me hooked on the Dukes of Hazzard. Before my husband introduced me to the Dukes (I really had never seen a full episode). We went to Dukesfest in TN in June of 2006. We saw the cast, but didn't get to meet them all. We waited six hours just to meet John Schneider. If we would have realized that the wait was that long, we would have never got in line (we had the kids with us and they were pretty little and it was so hot!!). But after waiting a couple hours, stepping out would have been like throwing all that time away, so we just kept waiting. The wait was very trying, especially since it was very warm and we were beyond exhausted. But, John Schneider was GREAT! He was pretty much in the same boat too, being that he wasn't even feeling well. Yet, he stuck it out for the fans. WHAT A GUY!!! It was all worthwhile then. We even got our picture taken with him. Books
The Bible is the only book I consistently read. I have recently read "Prison to Praise" by Merlin Carothers (which I HIGHLY recommend - it's a short, pocket-sized book). I've also read "Gianna: Aborted...and Lived to Tell About It" - which is a story about Gianna Jessen (we named our daughter after her....watch Gianna's testimony below as well as a video of MY little Gianna!!).
I have also read "The Chronicles of Narnia" series, By C.S. Lewis - which I HIGHLY recommend!! Also, I suggest that everyone read "The Thrill of the Chaste: Finding Fulfillment While Keeping Your Clothes On" by Dawn Eden - which I HIGHLY AND URGENTLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE - SINGLE OR NOT!! (Check out www.dawneden.com and watch her video below). There are other books that I would like to read, but just haven't begun or finished yet. LOL
Heroes
JESUS ABOVE ALL ELSE!!! He's my TRUE hero. Though, I do have admiration and respect for my other brothers and sisters in Christ who have a committed faith and live to serve the King. :)
I also admire the character of my husband, and the purity and innocence of children, especially mine (please see the You Tube video of my kids below!! It will make you smile!!). My son has really inspired me and changed my views on a lot of things. He's hearing impaired, and while that may seem like a burden to some, it has never been a stumbling block to him. Every child is valuable and disabilities don't make ANYONE disposable or unworthy. Praise God for the down-syndrome and other disabled people of this world who remind us that we are so blessed and that we should do with what we got as they do. Often times, they surpass us! No doubt that they, who are last in the world's eyes, are FIRST in God's eyes! You can learn a lot from these people and from children. Jesus wants us to have that "child-like faith" and humble ourselves like them. Children don't complicate things. They see things as they are and life is simple to them. If only we couuld be as pure and uncontaminated as children! We all need that kind of unconditional love and faith.

Who I'd like to meet: Above all else; Jesus Christ face to face on that glorious day!! :) At least I am glad that I have a relationship with Him NOW so that I CAN meet Him later!! We are all going to meet Him, but only the ones who know Him NOW will get to BE WITH HIM forever when the last day comes!! Do you know Him? If you don't, talk to me and I will introduce you to Him!!
It would also be great to meet Saundra, Vanessa, Adry, Joel and Kristi, and many of my other online friends whom I love and adore!! And, I would STILL love to meet MIKE HUCKABEE!!!!!!! Other than that, I have met many of the people I truly love knowing - my husband, my family, my friends, and my church family.
I'm just happy to meet more people who are looking to have strong friendships - especially other brothers and sisters in Christ.
I love people who have a sweet and peaceful spirit and who are encouraging and positive. I'm also the type of person who likes to help people. I am more than happy to talk and listen to you; as well as pray for you!! I consider myself a good friend, and would like to meet others who would be good friends as well.
