.... This is about breaking down stereotypes: Miss C would be a 23 caliber hippie-hopping Jewish rhapsody of an emcee. W/ a DJ at her side, shakin hip hop higher than high. Open up & heard from the grape vines of KS spoken word spun beats, sung choruses and leads, she's got a message to breed

Basically, Miss Conception has severed as a spoken word performance artist in Lawrence, KS, debuting her hiphop side more recently. Taking the stage at The Jazzhaus, The Jackpot and The Riot Room, among others, backing it all up with original beats made by various artists in the Kansas City Area (Ill Collins, D.Will, DJ Eko). Emcee Miss C takes over the microphone with a motivational, educational and confrontational style. Breaking down real issues with real substance, rhymes and raps include topics such as sex, solidarity and startin' the revolution, above all. Influenced by the honorable Jurassic 5 and Ani Difranco, to name a few, put those two together and you get one hell of a misconception.

I do Music, because I like to hear, something funky something pure - get some attitude a head nod to a song - assynchronicity that don’t go wrong - Because I’m learning to play the guitar as I rhyme - because what better way than to spend my time? because Music to me is my reason to be it’s simply the best way to reach full capacity - with rhythm spinning thru my ear drums making a difference is about having fun in a heads-up change (up) the-world kinda mind set I’m showing up right on time, yet I got a lot of catchin’ up to do if I’m gonna prove what I’m made of to you- I’ll start with a list, of aspiration, What’s on my standing ovation:
