Influences
Still thinks LITTLE FEAT is the greatest rock/jam band that ever lived... LOVE listening to ALL kinds of music EXCEPT Rap/Hiphop/heavy metal/screamers. Would have to sayDonald "Duck" Dunn,James Jamerson, Jack Cassidy...Paul Samwell/Smith...Tim Bogart...Cliff Barton...Chas Chandler...Ronnie Wood...Nathan East... Listening to old school R&B, soul, blues, funk, bluegrass, Americana and smooth jazz bassists to many to mention over the past 40 plus years. I learn something from most everything I hear. I would like to give a special thanks to my soulmate,Ginger Seaboyer for introducing me to the beauty of going fretless and for being there everyday to inspire and support me.

I'm loving life. Music is my passion and artistic expression. Been a bassist for over 40 years. Played a lot of styles with a lot of people - blues, bluegrass, rock.R&B and country. I am a Transsexual woman - now legally female. I'm listed in the book "Baltimore Sounds" as "Pete" Plamondon. More on that in my blogs and at http://www.myspace.com/DonnaFenderGirl
Now that that's outta the way ----
My main bass is a Warwick Corvette Fretless and have a Fender Fretless P/J (frets didn't last 36 hours before I pulled them - damn you Ginger!!) and a Fender MB4. I'm a diehard user of Ampeg SVT amps (since 1970). I'm a versatile and experienced player and a quick study. I'm definately old school - NO active electronics or effects - nothing that requires batteries 'cept my tuner. Originally from Georgetown - Washington, D.C. Played with various bands there and moved to Baltimore in '67. Played thru the "Bluesette","Majestic Artist Prod." and "Starleigh" with bands such as the "Uncertain Things", "Rize", "Joshua" (see www.myspace.com/joshua1968), then "Renaud and the Junction", "Jesse", "Southbound", various bluegrass bands, "Jaded Sister", "Rainbow Rouge" and "Hurricane and the Blues Tornado". Opened for numerous national acts at shows produced by "Tree Frog Productions" during the glory days of Painters Mill Music Fair. Opened for Ruth Copeland, the James Cotton Blues Band, Savoy Brown, Foghat, Nils Lofgren & Grin, Atomic Rooster, Redbone, Seatrain and worked shows with Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Joe Cocker, Leon Russell, Emmy Lou Harris, Edgar Winter and others. Left Baltimore for a few years and played worship services in chuches and coffeehouses in North Carolina- had to find myself spiritually and learn to face my little "personal issue". I have recentlee met my soulmate, Ginger from Nova Scotia, Canada. She's a fretless bassist as well(my 1 friend) and my inspiration to go fretless..we hope to arrange and compose for 2 basses and will be making beautiful music together.... I AM INTERESTED IN MEETING/JAMMING WITH OTHER SERIOUS LOCAL MUSICIANS. - Currently with "JOSHUA" , "da TBONE MOJO" , working a project with keyboard great BARRY DAVIS SR. (aka the Professor) , colaborating with 2x Wammie nominee GEORGIE JESSUP , jams with blues legend WARNER WILLIAMS , hosting/cohosting jam sessions with TBone Bradley and/or fellow Bluesetter Ken Wolle but still LOOKING FOR other serious GIGS, PROJECTS and SESSION WORK with MUSICALLY MATURE ARTISTS. ... You never know where I'll be playing/who I'll be sittin in with on weekends....- for more about me check out my other myspace profile at: http://www.myspace.com/joshua1968
