Currently, I'm interested only in re-reading various works of Hesse and Moliere, and in researching & learning various works of J.S. Bach and his compatriots to perform.

At any rate, here are some of my favorites...Maria Callas, OMD, Hercules & Love Affair, Efterklang, Martina Topley-Bird, Santogold,Siouxsie, Diamanda Galas, Nina Simone, Ladytron, Roxy Music (for that matter), Echo & Bunnymen, Bauhaus, The Wire, Lush, Pizzicato 5, Mary Jane Girls, Portishead, FSOL, Visage, Q. I am classically trained as a countertenor (ask me). I also sing tenor (but do so in ensemble work). I specialize in early music (Medieval-Classical), contemporary compositions (Glass, Arvo Part, Schnitke, etc.), with forays in electronica.

About me: It seems as if I've been studying for ever so long...well I have been, albeit, in a very sporadic manner. I've lived, studied, and toured almost everywhere; Santa Barbara, Indianapolis, St. Paul, London, Cambridge, Sussex, Italy, and currently, Phoenix. Anyway, I do sing professionally, mainly classical music, but I've also studied French Literature, and I absolutely adore researching/presenting ancient musical works by way of Musicology. Hmmm...I think for now that is all. Ciao!
Who I'd like to meet: If it were possible, I'd like to meet Maria Callas, Anna Magnani, Pier Paolo Pasolini, J.S. Bach (er ist ein Gott), Candy Darling, E. M. Forster, a younger Joe Dallesandro (for a bit of lovin'), a young Brando (for the same reason), Montgomery Clift (same), George Sand (that is Aurora Dudevant and her brilliant circle of friends), Dali (for his hilarious manifesto than for his art) Francis Bacon (for his art), Reinaldo Arenas, Edie Sedgewick, Bette Davis, Arthur Rimbaud (as well as his amour Paul Verlaine), Joan Crawford, Camille Claudel (and her brother Paul for that matter), Edith Massey, Greta Garbo, Thomas Tallis, Catherine de Medici, Petronius, and many others too numerous to type. However, since it isn't possible to meet these divine and talented individuals, I'd like to meet Jesus...and Amy Sedaris for that matter.
No, I saw that you are on there more often than here. Anyway, I am currently living the dream. Or whatever you"d call it. Actually I..m walking up in a few hours to PT. There is an airshow this week so I don"t get my days off, and I have to deal with snotty civilians. Good times! Well that..s about it at the moment. I..m dating someone now, that..s good times, or it will be when we aren..t living far apart. Anyway, I..ll tell you about it later. I..m getting tired again.
Le Tigre's got a new band and they are playing the Rhythm Room tomorrow night(Mon 6/20). William effing Reed will be joining Jared Alan for his opening set. You should def consider coming out.

it's so nice you care about my studies - thanx so much and sorry that i didn't write for so long... i was kinda out of myspace since months and in some kind of stressy hellfire, haha... but to answer your question: no! i didn't finish my thesis yet, but i'm on a good way now. during summer / autumn i completed my final exams, that was a lot of work, but i made it and i made it very good in the end :-). then i helped two friends with their thesis, but since a month or so i'm finally free to work on my stuff now... so stay tuned - it's turning to get interesting now, haha.
Um...Halloween. Can you tell me what is going down? Anything. I asked Todd and Pokey Ball and...we have the best costume. Somebody invite us somewhere, pretty please. I won't pee on the carpet, I promise.
