ENTERTAINMENT ATTORNEY, DIRECT & PRODUCE FILMS, ARTIST, WRITER & PHOTOGRAPHER

    investigator

I am an attorney and a filmmaker. I write character driven scripts, direct, edit, act in, run camera and sound, and produce films. I have managed screenwriters for many years in Los Angeles, hang out with creative people, design, paint, enjoy Rolling Stone Magazine, The New York Times, the LA Weekly, Sunday Cartoons, and attend vintage car festivals and interview surfers at Zuma Beach and the Great Lakes. I am a published writer, photographer, and have sold my paintings throughout the US for the past 30 years. I produce Mark Borchardt's film, "Scare Me." I am learning more about collecting glass and decorative arts, and love reading and listening to my extensive vinyl collection.

In 2003, my blog was number 1 on AOL.

  • Books

I have a very extensive library, mainly consisting of non-fiction books. I have not read many contemporary authors and prefer to stick with the classics. Not to say Hunter S. Thompson, John Updike, Raymond Carver, Charles Bukowski, Toby Young aren't personal treasures. However, my main (albeit broad) focus is biographies and autobiographies of directors, actors, politicians, Presidents, screenwriters, comedians, newscasters, artists, and playwrights. I have extensive collections on all the subjects I have degrees in; culinary arts, interior design, law, business, filmmaking, graphic design, computer graphics, real estate, photography, writing and art. Then there are all the source document books on animals, animation, children's books, for my art use. Throw in some Hitchcock mysteries, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, health, diet, well-being, the world and beyond, and you'll get the picture! Additionally, I read fairy tales, myths, folklore of various cultures around the world, plays and classic poetry and have an extension collection of travel books, cookbooks, books on getting published, screenwriting, and have a large collection of books on the Kennedy era, Jackie and Marilyn Monroe. I use my antique and art glass books weekly for trading in expensive Italian glass.

About me:

This is one of the best first scenes of a film: Apocalypse Now:

"Doc my brother's crazy. He thinks he's a chicken." And the doctor says, "Well, why don't you turn him in?" And the guy says, "I would, but I need the eggs." Well, I guess that's pretty much how I feel about relationships You know, they're totally irrational and crazy and absurd but I guess we keep going through it because most of us need the eggs." --Woody Allen, "Annie Hall," which is my favorite film.

Communication,Information,Technology is exceeding at a limitless pace, beyond cultures and its vultures and subconsciously in between generations. Using the experience and knowledge of the past to create a window to the unpredictable future which turns into the present in a blink of an eye and goes back into playing the past .
The past the present and future co-exist.
The world started shrinking the moment it was created. The tribes have gotten closer, more hi tech and more sharing.Breaking all thought-barriers ,experimenting with multi-dimensional networks
but at the core still aware of our emotional human limitations.
We will forever be a tribe, just that the tribes are getting delightfully demented and thankfully no one is complaining…….

    Darling
As my MySpace friend, I am including you in something exciting--I just won the SILVER SCREEN ACTORS SHOWCASE AWARD from the NEVADA FILM FESTIVAL for my new legit FEATURE FILM! NATASHA KIZMET: THE MOVIE! It has been called BORAT MEETS CANDY and I want your feedback, and the feedback of your MySpace friends! You would be doing me a big favor if you would post this comment so people would know to go the the "My Videos" section of my profile to watch the trailer and the other scenes I have posted. This is my market research as to how well we have done. The film is being shopped as we speak by a major film agent, and we are entering it in Film Festivals! This is exciting, and thanks SO MUCH for your help!!

If you want to help market the film, or get on the list to order the DVD when it comes out at a discount, email me at
