  • Bio

Since forming in Vancouver in late fall of 2007, Missing Starla has awed audiences throughout Western Canada with their unique sound. It's members have gathered musical experiences from the Victoria, Montreal and Toronto scenes and brought them together into a distinctive sound that has been likened to Modest Mouse, the Cure, the Counting Crows and Sam Roberts. Catchy songs like Analie, which showcase their ability to blend an upbeat melody with lyrics that emotionally connect with listeners, have fueled the band's steadily growing momentum. The continual creation of impressive new material and energetic live performances are firmly establishing Missing Starla as one of the most exciting new talents on the Canadian independent music scene. Missing Starla is Jamey Adirim on vocals, Jeff Gabert on Bass, Josh Contant on drums and Victor Hugo Cobian on lead guitar. Their self-titled debut EP is available on Itunes. .. .. .... ......
