We enjoy a diversity of music from ballads to hip hop, reggaeton, metal and punk. The most important part of any song is the message that it gets across to it's listeners. Realizing that music was created to glorify God, we try to keep it real by only listening to Christian music.

About me:

After being born into a Christian family, I (Steven) turned to the world for answers at the age of eighteen. Nine years later, I found myself addicted to a partying, dance club lifestyle and had major problems with cigarettes, alcohol, promiscuity, drugs, gambling, etc. I should’ve died several times, from high speed motorcycle accidents (no helmet) to back road drag racing and let’s not forget operating factory machinery on caffeine pills (357 mg). After two DUI arrests and bankruptcy, I hit rock bottom and ended up on medical leave from my job for emotional problems.

With nowhere to turn, I became the real life version of the prodigal son parable from the Bible and returned to live with my parents at the age of twenty-seven. In November of 1997, God met my need and miraculously restored me on the altar of a country, storefront church. He delivered me from my addictions instantly and I never had withdrawal symptoms.

After being an understudy to my pastor, I became radical. The Holy Spirit had super naturally exchanged my physical addictions with a hunger for lost souls. I began to go “out of the box” in an effort to turn over every rock in search of young people who were suffering like I had been previously.

Presently, I serve as a full-time missionary here in Guatemala alongside my beautiful Guatemalan wife for a non-profit organization that we founded four years ago. We are pioneers of a sort because we use a radical, unconventional approach to reach non-believers for the Kingdom of God. We use anything "extreme" to draw “at risk kids” into building friendships with us. This gives us the opportunity to slowly mentor them with Biblical principles.

IHS International Missions is a faith based non-profit organization working in Guatemala and Central America to provide eternal hope to the under privileged and outcast people. One of the ways that this is accomplished is by the building of relationships and friendships with non-believers and mentoring them with simple Biblical truths.

Who I'd like to meet:

We would like to meet any body who is real about serving the Lord! It does not matter in what capacity; they can be pastors, laypeople, musicians or regular nine to fivers who are up to the challenge of letting their lives be a living testimony for God.

    Hello friend

Its a pleasure to Said HI in your space.

Joh 3:5 Jesus answered,Verily, verily, I sayG unto thee,Except a man be born
of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh;and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not
tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth every one that is born of the Spirit.

    Hello friend

Its a pleasure to Said HI in your space.

Who then , can separate us from the love of Christ?
can trouble do it,or hardship or persecution or gunger
or proverty or danger or dead?

    for i am certain that nothing can separate us frome his love ;
neither death nor life, neither angels nor other heavenly
rulers or powers ,neither the present nor the future, neither
the world above nor the world below
there is nothing in all creation that will ever be able to
separate us from the love of God which is our through
    Christ Jesus our Lord

I forgot about adding you to skype, I'll do that tomorrow, thx for the reminder... God has some really awesome things brewing in me right now and I know that I'm coming to see you this Summer, however, the dates still remain a mystery... I'll be pitching it to the christian skaters guys in February and I already have some local interest as well. I'm look forward to seeing where God takes us all this year :) Love and Much Peace to you and your family bro!... are you making plans to be in Portland for the 09 Skate Conf? you gotta be there bro...

Hi Steven! It was great to hear from you! WOW,did we ever think we'd be where we are today? Your testimony sounds all too familiar to me, as well! Praise God for His mercy and grace! Blessings to you and your family and on your work there in Guatemala! Morgan

Man I have to tell you, this whole missions thing is very foreign to me, matter of fact, I never dreamed (or desired) that I would be getting involved in anything like this. I'm not sure I'm the right guy to plan this out but I'll do whatever you need... I'm also not sure why God is dragging me into this but I am certain of one thing, our meeting in California was no accident :) and He wants me to be very involved.

I just learned today that my daughter will be on a trip to Honduras July 1-9 so I know those dates are bad for me. If you have a full mission plan with a few date ranges that would work best for you I could then get it to Christian Skaters and they could in turn spread the word to help build the "right" team. Those guys have contacts all over the world... Do you use Skype? If so, maybe we could connect one day later this week and discuss your thoughts.
