About me:
Teases, tassles and titilation come to Leicester in the form of The Powder Room, a quarterly Burlesque show at Jongleurs comedy club.
You can expect cheesecake strip teases, tassle twirling, sequins and feather from our dancers. Hosted by Miss Kyla, Gimp Monkey Nay-Nay and our new DJ Mikey Wong. WIth a full food and cocktail menu and a lively atmosphere, you really can eat drink and be merry!
Next Event:
The Powder Room's 1st birthday party is set to bring the house down. A uniform theme with our first BOYlesque!
As always we have Burlesque dancers to tantilise and titilate you, 50s/60s music, variety entertainment and a warm,welcoming (some may even say uninhibited) Jongleurs atmosphere. Be there between 7pm and 8.30pm on 7th Oct (please note the date change from previously advertised).
This time its our 1st birthday party with a uniform theme. We encourage you to dress up to make your night complete. Have a look at our photos for inspiration.
Your headline act will be EQUADOR THE WIZARD- our first BOYlesque act!

Welcome to the darkest summer in the history of Birmingham burlesque, and the culprit behind this black summer? None other than Gehenna of the Silk Stocking Striptease Show. However, never fear, bringing the light to the event will be Angel LaVey of the Silk Stocking Striptease Show. Whether you want something, light and comical or dark and deviant, the 9th Silk Stocking Striptease Show will have something for you. Pick your poison, light or dark, we have it all and we guarantee to satisfy your cravings.
The Silk Stocking Striptease Show Nine will be taking place on the 8th of August 2009 at The Flapper Pub. Tickets will cost you £7.50 in advance from www.birminghamburlesque.com and will be on sale until midday on the 8th of August. You will be able to buy tickets on the door at £9 each, subject to availability. The doors to the show open at 7:30pm and the show will begin at 8:30pm.

Antonio Hoyos will be joining us on the 16th of June, appearing as "The Great Antoine!"
We are delighted that this great comedic performer can join our line-up.
The Pop Haydn Post-Modern Medicine Show will be appearing at The Laugh Factory, 8001 Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood! One show at 8:00 PM.
Pop will be joined by Professor Dave Bourne and the Medicine Show Band, Rob Zabrecky, Sophie Evans, Antonio Hoyos, Phil Van Tee and Pop's Candy Girls for a wonderful show of Old Time Music, magic, comedy and variety.
It'll make you feel better!
