Anything with Soul and I'll sing it. I've probably been honing my Diva skills
for the last ten years and started out honking out jazz on a now very dusty Saxophone. Having escaped the constraints of high school self-consciousness I've learnt
to let go and there's been no looking back since. There's no better release than funk for full on power and positive aggression
( I say that because the only thing mean about funk is the groove) and have been shakin' my thing with Mondatta Funk for the last 3 years. I am so pleased to have finally made it big! Well, in terms of expanding from a 4 to a 12 piece band anyway... There's no room to be shy with the blues so Boweevil (Mark Howes) and
I have been hollering, stomping and sliding in an acoustic jamboree for the
last two years..... The streets of Norwich can now be found echoing
with the sounds of The Stilhouettes. Laura White, Ruby O' Callaghan, Johanna Herron and myself have been sisters of soul for the past year with all things gospel, soul and harmonious..... And in between all that I can be found passing on my passion for Gospel
and have started running singing workshops so if you too want to take part

of my funky companions...'Peace and Dove,' (haha).
Aimed at promoting and celebrating local female artists performers, designers, film makers, dancers, musicians etc.
Still in early stages we are interested in hearing from local charities which could benifit from us raising money for them ( womens charities please on this occasion ) and also any one who wishes to be involved in the event or take advantage to one of our free stalls we have about 20 spaces still ava. for crafts, artists, workshops, readings, etc.
We will also be hosting a cloths swap shop were you can bring unwanted items to donate,or swap. you can also purchase items .
Kids are welcome until 8 pm and there will be stuff like face painting and bouncy castle for them .
So why not tell your girl friends and make it your girls day out !!!

Just wanted to tell you about a film screening on tuesday. It's an award winning documentary about how our society has changed as a result of 9/11 and 7/7.
Am MI5 whistleblower will be there to speak and answer questions So too will the films director.
It's at the Queen Charlotte, Dereham Road on 9th Decmeber.
Instead of tickets a voluntary contribution of £3-5 is suggested.
I think it'd be great if the music community of Norwich stood up for a little truth so I'm telling as many of us as possible about it!
