I penned the book Kick Litter about coping with my litter addiction. The big guy we live with is taking all the credit though.
Hi I'm Moxie and I am a litter addict. Every day without litter I feel I've accomplished something great. The toilet has a lot of drawbacks - for one, you get high, but you get no high (if you know what I mean). The toilet is porcelain - you gotta get used to that. There's water below. That's no fun. And after I finish my business, there's no reward - nothing to scratch at, nothing to remember the experience by. Sure I feel accomplishment - I'm a cat. And I'm special. Lots of cats have no idea how to do this. But that gives me no satisfaction because, to be frank, I enjoy being a cat. No worries. Food, water and litter. That's all I ever asked for. Maybe a little lap time when I'm in the mood.
Visit my blog Miss Litter for videos and pics and stories about 'cat toilet training.'
And if you're interested in my story - the big guy we live with published a pretty gift book about kicking litter, called appropriately: Kick Litter: Nine-Step Program for Recovering Litter Addicts!
Peace,
Moxie
