It will include Slow Boat and lots of other cool stuff from hill-billy git-downs to danceable booty-shakers. Look for some of the tracks in the coming weeks and download them here!

Here are a couple of really nice things people have said about my efforts:
"A pure and piercing voice... Acousitc singer/songwriters may be a dime-a-dozen, but this one has something special." --Andy Hazel, Inpress (gig review), Melbourne 1/24/07
"Martin's sound takes in parts country, slacker indie rock, grubby cherub pop, and she likes to be free to scream and shout. Her lo-fi DIY attitudes colour her as something of a country punk, an unofficial signpost she doesn't mind orbiting." --Lenin Stamos, Db Magazine, Adelaide 1/23/07
"A friendlier, springtime Cat Power." Excitement Machine, Adelaide 1/07
"A true musician.... Her vocals are rich and tender."--Sam Fell, Inpress, Melbourne 1/10/07
"Bridget's talent is undeniable"--Raglan Chronicle 12/06

Influences right now: High-rise lollipop vending machine beer fermented babies on a stick with octopus eyes on top of a giant mountain scaled by over-dressed hikers with deep-fried bullets flying in from the North Korean Demilitarlized Zone near the temple where the businessmen still pray to The Buddha. And lots of kimche and good old fashioned piss beer like the kind I drank when I was a child.
Thanks for the add. I've been DJing in California and Central Vermont for years and now I am coming to Burlington at Ri-Ra's on Tursdays from 10-2, hope to see you there. I'll be sure to play some Bridgette and the Puppycats! :)
- All the bands set up at the same time along the perimeter of the room with the audience in the center - Each band does one song at a time, no breaks, back to back to back etc., until the show is completed - There is no headliner or opener, no front row or back of the room
hey Bridget! How did the show go? Did you get signed? gave yer c.d. to a guy here in Daejeon-polis. He said he enjoyed it and the other ones I gave him. No word as to whether that might mean a show there, though.
I'd love to go to Asia! But I don't know anyone at all... Except for some lovely people I met in Taiwan when I was there with my other band.
Nope, this time I'm flying into the States, then flying to Europe and staying there for a while, then back to the states then home. If I can manage it I'm going to hang in Japan with my friend's band before that.
Funny we talked about a lot of stuff when you called the other day, but you didn't tell me the most important thing: you re-named your band! Hooray for puppycats!
