A l'origine, Miss Mary Mack est le projet de Ceddy Gonod. Connu pour donner à la scène indie folk française un son à nul autre pareil, Ceddy a dans ses bagages de multiples collaborations prestigieuses :
Producteur des deux derniers albums de Red (Universal Jazz), il tutoie les Herman Düne, enchaîne les projets avec, entre autres, Orville Brody, Noël Akchoté, Santa Cruz, Philippe Tessier, Thomas Belhom, Laetitia sheriff, Olivier Mellano, Régis Boulard, Coming Soon ...
Il est l'homme qui a dompté les Sons of the desert et les Shiels. Multi instrumentiste, fasciné par la scène folk américaine, Ceddy Gonod est d'abord et avant tout un artiste de talent, habité par une certaine conception de la musique : l'honnêteté. Cette conception, s'il l'exprime à travers ses différents autres projets, il la rend surtout visible à travers Miss Mary Mack.
Aux croisées de la noise, du rock, de la country et du folk, voilà un groupe OVNI, servi par Jean-Michel Blécon (Streamer, The Milk, ex Fond de tiroir) à la batterie et percussions ?et Rose Blécon (ex Fonds de Tiroir) au chant et claviers.

Boulard, Coming Soon. He's the new man behind
the crazy english band "The sons of the desert".
He plays any instrument, fascinated by the ame-
rican folk sound, Ceddy G. is, before anything
else, a talented artist and he knows exactly
what he wants from music : honesty.
That's the thing M.M.M. wants to show you.
Between Noise, rock, country and folk music,

SJ ESAU (UK / ANTICON / pop indietronica) Sj Esau est le dernier né de la famille Anticon.
Le label américain, défendant habituellement une scène hip hop et electro alternative, s’ouvre aux sonorités plus rock et sort le troisième album solo du bristolien. Après avoir officié dans de nombreuses formations, Sj Esau essaime désormais seul sa pop déglinguée et matinée de folk. Touche-à-tout, et adepte des compositions entièrement accouchées par ses soins, il sort un album éclectique à l’image de ses influences, où l’on peut compter autant cLOUDDEAD, qu’Animal Collective ou Jeffrey Lewis.
Dans l’univers lumineux de « Wrong Faced Cat Feed Collapse » son dernier album, l’anglais alterne les couplets sombres et les refrains explosifs. Il y mêle cuivres et cordes par là, guitare antifolk ici, chœurs saccadés là-bas ; le tout porté par une electro discrète mais foutraque. Un sens de la mélodie certain qui fait qu’on compte déjà parmi ses fans, des pointures telles que Sebadoh, Gravenhurst ou encore Why ? à qui il doit d’ailleurs un remix.
