Dancing, cooking, singing, sports, reading and you guessed it... MOVIES! Favorite Actors - Cary Grant, Audrey Hepburn, Al Pacino, Robert Redford, John Cusack, Michelle Pfeiffer, Edward Norton, Judi Dench, Kevin Spacey, Gary Oldman, Tina Fey, Bill Paxton, John Cleese (plus many, many more)
KIDS - I taught preschool and pre-K for 7 years and I served in the preschool ministry at my church with the 3-5 year olds. They crack me up and melt my heart every week... such a blessing!
ANIMALS - I'm a huge animal lover. I volunteer for the local Humane Society. We've been a foster family for many pets. Over the years we've had some wonderful dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, hermit crabs, etc. I'm so bad... I tend to take in every stray, so right now we're maxed out with a dog, 2 cats and my cousin's 55 gallon fish tank... our own little animal kingdom. ;)
Music
I have very eclectic taste when it comes to music; I like a little bit of everything except for twangy CW and hardcore rap. Some of my favorites are The Beatles, U2, The Clash, Earth Wind & Fire, Annie Lennox, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie Wonder, Elvis Costello, Brian McKnight, Journey, Harry Connick Jr, The Rolling Stones, Sade, Boney James, Prince, Mike Morgan & the Crawl, Hillsong United, old school Michael Jackson (before he got so weird), all kinds of cheesy songs like the ballads of Air Supply and Ice Ice Baby, Norah Jones, Boston, Count Basie, Maroon 5, Bonnie Raitt, Santana, Indigo Girls, Alicia Keys, The Pretenders, Faith Hill, John Mayer, Amel Larrieux, Mark Schultz, Oscar Peterson.

Television
24, Lost, Heroes, Fringe, How I Met Your Mother. Thought The Lost Room was awesome... why didn't they make that into a series? Some of my older faves are Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Seinfeld & Twin Peaks.
Books
Some of my all time faves are The Great Gatsby; Catcher in the Rye; Pride and Prejudice; The works of William Shakespeare; The Chronicles of Narnia; Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas; To Kill a Mockingbird; Invisible Man; The Trial; Anne Rice books and Harry Potter Books.
About me: I'm a busy single mom of 2 precious girls. I'm a HUGE movie geek. I love music... all kinds and enjoy singing. I love to dance... especially West Coast Swing and Salsa. I'm a pretty good cook too. Lots of people say that my daughters and I remind them of "The Gilmore Girls"... must be the witty banter.

"In the vein of Solaris, K-PAX
and The Man Who Fell to Earth,
PROXIMA is a refreshing film full of wonder."
(LONDON SCI-FI FESTIVAL)
"If you’re looking for something different
in science fiction from your traditional lasers
and alien monsters, check out
Carlos Atanes’s PROXIMA.
Remember Proxima is not just a place,
it’s a state of mind… literally."
(NIC BROWN, B MOVIE MAN)
"PROXIMA is an endearingly off-beat sci-fi film
whose odder moments owe to the visionary
can-do determination of Spanish
underground director Carlos Atanes."

ok, What's the LAST Good movie you watched-in the theater? I bet thats a hard question to answer? : ) Nothing has really sent me out with that feeling of "WOW" in awhile. I can say "Transformers" was fun- opening night, full house, lots of action and actually very funny! But that Kind of movie is pure summer entertainment, not a gripping drama.
