At the age of five years, Melissa Williamson began her singing/songwriting career. On her meandering journey from Las Vegas, Nevada to Grand Rapids, Michigan, her tiny frame has sculpted a big voice, and her travels have equipped her with the life experience to touch us all. She has been singing professionally since early November of 1999, and has been polishing her guitar skills for the past six years.
Her musical style is best described as ’dirty pop’, mixing catchy melodies and rhythms with haunting lyrics and a clear, compassionate vocal sound. "I don’t know how many times people have come up to me [after a show] and said,’ I didn’t know that such a tiny thing like you could hold such a BIG voice!’ " Don’t let her demeanor fool you. Melissa may come off as refreshingly sweet and energetic, but to hear her sing will leave you in disbelief. It is hard to imagine that someone so fragile can produce such an enormous and beautiful sound.
And, with the ever-changing genre of pop music, this powerful young vocalist will surely find a niche. "There is so much good music out there, and I just want to be a part of that. I want someone to listen to my songs and say, ’wow, I know exactly what she was feeling when she wrote that’. I want to have the one song that’s stuck in your head all day."
And that’s all right by us.

i don't care if you arn't Milissa willamson (Silent Hill woman i mean) but you have a great voice and such a wonderful atomosphere in your songs. makes me warm and fuzzy inside. keep it up cause your good.
