MISS PIE, orginally from St. Louis, spent many years in the music business with her guitar quietly tucked in the backround. She started on the radio KDHX 88.1 fm as host of Ska's the Limit, which launched her into many years as the goto ska and punk promoter in STL.
After booking and promoting well over 400 shows, having worked with over 1000 bands in all those years and several stints of a tour manager and eventually a club owner, her dreams of playing music became more important (and she was flat out worn out:)... She left the biz and began playing, but was hard to find people to play with, and usually put down all ideas with a drum machine anyway, and one night looked at the back at the little jack that said "footswitch". And MISS PIE was born. She decided to be a one woman rock band. Bought a footswitch the next day rounded out material and a few months later played her first show all in her lonesome :) (jan 2000) and continued to play all around st. louis and a couple of times in chicago... growing tired of st. louis, (and a longing to live in new york city that she had since childhood), decided it was time to part good ole stl. (2002)...she was off!!!!!! Began playing the circuit in and around and all the usual suspects...Siberia, Arlenes, CB's, Trash, and on... a year or so later spent two summers touring east coast with Warped Tour side stage (-03, 04)....heading into what would be her 3rd summer and creating much buzz, she was knocked down with a major medical trauma, and laid up for 3 months cancelling all plans of touring. After a long recovery, she took some time off playing and decided to goto "hairschool", being that beside music she knew that was the other thing she was supposed to do....launched her career and began playing with some people during school that launched crutch lovely. After a couple years was wanting to fire up MISS PIE again, began playing again in late 2007 in full force...now that technology has caught up with her idea to be a singular musical force :) has a slew of new electronic toys that is bringing her to a new level.
Now, taking a little down time again dec 08, to plan to open her own salon.
Jan 2009, Studio Nadja was launched on 7th st. in the east village and MISS PIE will be playing lightly while she gets that off the ground.
So look for her...she is on her way back with a ton of new stuff!!!!!!

Hello Firstly, I hope all is well with you and yours. I am personally touching base with everyone on my friend’s list. I have the next few months off before I start a tour early next year, and I want to take this time to thank you for your friendship and support , and share my latest news. In my latest blog I posted the transcript of my recent interview with MUEN Magazine, which was featured in the October issue. It explains a lot more about who I am behind the music, if you are interested. There is a free mp3 download of a song I did called “Be Still” that can exclusively be downloaded from my iLike profile. As always, just click on any of the links on the right side of my main profile page to access my iTunes, Facebook, YouTube, iLike, official page etc. If you will, please add me at any site you are on, as I do different things on each site. I am also announcing that “Blush” and “Disclaimer”, two songs off my debut album “The Good Fight”, will soon be downloadable on Xbox live and PS3 Nation to play on Rock Band. I leave you now with a song I uploaded today on my YouTube. It’s my spin on my all time favorite blues song, and part of my live set. I recorded it at my house the other day. It also debuts the new logo I designed. Hope you enjoy it. If you dig my work, share it with a friend. I don’t care about fame or money, I am just one man who loves music, and dedicates my life to sharing it with as many people as possible. Thank you again for your friendship and support. Best Wishes Gregory Ploy of Oracle
