About me:

Miss Rose Thorne lives in the East End of London. trained by the fabulous Miss Jo King of the London Academy of Burlesque, she has been performing around London and the UK since September 2007. 2008 saw Miss Thorne make her US debut in New York City; she also made her print debut in the French edition of Playboy. The year ended with her performing The Elephant Woman at Jo Kings 50th birthday party.

Miss Rose Thorne "The sassy lassie with the classy chassis" can been seen in her photo albums proudly curvaceous, pale and interesting. As well as sharing with you pictures of Monkey the glitter-puss, and some of her favourite things.

As well as teaching burlesque skills to Rose, Jo also choreographed Squaw Blimey! and Everything's Coming up Roses.

Miss Rose Thorne won 1st place at the September 2007 Tournement of Tease, with her act "Squaw Blimey!". The act also won first place at the House of Mirth. She has performed in London at Volupte, Madam JoJos, The Arts Club, The Met Bar, and Bethnal Green Working Mens Club. Outside London she performed at Manchester's Slippery Belle; Reading's Hot Muffins; Portsmouth's HMS Pin Up, the Glastonbury & Bestival Festivals, New York City's Monday Night Burlesque, Slipper Room and Sugar Shack.

“Everything's Coming Up Roses” a truly fabulous traditional striptease; an homage to the fabulous Gypsy Rose Lee. Choreographed by Jo King of the London Academy of Burlesque. This routine is classic burlesque, lots of tease and lots of roses. Handmade custom pasties by Adora Belle add the finishing touches to this signature performance.

“Daisy Crazy!” is pure cheesecake, a tribute to the one and only Daris Day! Watch a blonde Miss Thorne perform this classic burlesque, cute, cheeky and charming. Handmade custom pasties and hairpiece help bring out the daisy in Rose!

"Squaw Blimey!" is the story of a Native American Squaw who appears on stage to the sounds of distant woops, waving her latest scalp above her head. She dances a rain dance with her tomahawk proudly held high. But how will she get out of those wet clothes?

"The Scarlet Woman" is the timeless tale of a good girl gone oh so bad. Classic femme fatale burlesque meets film noir in this tantalising, sultry and scandalous routine. Custom made scarlet sequins dress, highlights Miss Thorne's curves to an unsuspecting audience!

"The Elephant (Wo)man)" STRANGE BUT TRUE! Step right up! Step right up! A step back in time to the sideshows of yesteryear; ‘THE ELEPHANT (WO)MAN’, part human, part pachyderm! ALIVE! The voluptuous showgirl with a big heart and a little secret! Watch as she teases and tantalises, disrobing to reveal her ‘special gift’. NATURE’S GREATEST MISTAKE!
