Live, Love and Dance. And only be a bitch if you have to. I guess that's the way I live my Life. I stand up for what I believe in, and not just for me. I pick and choose my battles, and I don't battle all. Of course, there are certain things I can't stand, and it's disrespect. I believe that innately there is good in everyone, but I dont think everyone has that realization. If that were the case, then I guess we'd all be a little more empathetic and a lot more forgiving, including myself. I'm not perfect, but I do believe I have a Good Soul. It's not just something I believe, its something I feel, and Im sure on judgment day God will know that too, if He doesn't already. Everyone has a history, and you cant judge me by looks alone, a magazine article or some television show. No matter what ethnicity we are, we cannot be categorized. If you read between the lines, you will see that I am just as strong and vulnerable, and also just as insensitive and sensitive as a human can be. My difference is that I am truly honest. I can think for myself, but I can also have an open mind to change my opinion because of the truth that I hear or see when I know it comes from a perception that may be beyond what I've experienced. I'm not crazy, but I walk a thin line between spirituality and reality. I believe in a bigger purpose than what I see. I don't live in the Matrix. I live from my Heart. I am not defined nor will I be a definition of any stereotype. I am just Ruthie. I live beyond labels. Alicia Keys wrote that "Some people think that the physical things define, whats within," and I believe in this day and age, people do define themselves by the material things they own and the way they look, and especially what they think people think of them. But what we hold inside is what really matters as cliche as that sounds. We all have excuses, but I like to think I have reasons. I know what responsibility means, and sometimes it's the hardest route to take. I believe that FORGIVING OURSELVES is the hardest part of Life when it comes to our conscience, if you listen to yours. I live to eat and I love to laugh. Music and Poetry are two of my favorite expressions. I live for the moments that distinguish a beautiful chapter in my life, or just the single wonderment of an occurrence. I live, as ME.

Happy Typewriter Day. I figured since this is a day celebrating communication I would drop by and see how your week is going.
