I love to go to see bands play, hanging out with my brothers,I like parties, hawaii, guys that fight, Car shows, Motorcycles, I love to eat good food, going to disneyland, taking long drives & Hanging out at my Uncle Alex Gambino's shop. I've spent alot of time in the hospital, once for almost 3 straight months ! I flatlined twice but god knew how much my parents needed me so he kept me here to take care of them.
I probebly party more than anyone here....not by choice, i'm just on alot of anti- seizure medication.

What is Rett syndrome?
Rett syndrome is a childhood neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by normal early development followed by loss of purposeful use of the hands, distinctive hand movements, slowed brain and head growth, gait abnormalities, seizures, and mental retardation. It affects females almost exclusively.
The course of Rett syndrome, including the age of onset and the severity of symptoms, varies from child to child. Before the symptoms begin, however, the child appears to grow and develop normally. Then, gradually, mental and physical symptoms appear. Hypotonia (loss of muscle tone) is usually the first symptom. As the syndrome progresses, the child loses purposeful use of her hands and the ability to speak. Other early symptoms may include problems crawling or walking and diminished eye contact. The loss of functional use of the hands is followed by compulsive hand movements such as wringing and washing. The onset of this period of regression is sometimes sudden.
Another symptom, apraxia — the inability to perform motor functions — is perhaps the most severely disabling feature of Rett syndrome, interfering with every body movement, including eye gaze and speech.
Individuals with Rett syndrome often exhibit autistic-like behaviors in the early stages. Other symptoms may include toe walking; sleep problems; wide-based gait; teeth grinding and difficulty chewing; slowed growth; seizures; cognitive disabilities; and breathing difficulties while awake such as hyperventilation, apnea (breath holding), and air swallowing.

We're gearing up for for the SCARLETT FEVER 2 BENEFIT FOR SCARLETT'S SPECIAL NEEDS AND RETT SYNDROME AWARENESS !
We have made some leaps and bounds with Scarlett over the last year. She has received alot of the therapy she's needed and aside from her siezures is doing pretty good.
We are trying so hard to get her up on her feet and out of that wheelchair, Even though it has to be the koolest wheelchair ever built we would rather see her pushing it than sitting in it. This years event is being sponsored in partnership with the ROAD DEVILS and LAST ORIGINALS car clubs. There has been some huge breakthroughs in finding a cure for Rett syndrome. They have actually reversed this horrible syndrome in laboratory mice. We are praying that Scarlett could be a candidate to have this reversed in her someday. We never had more hope for a cure than we do now but until then we need to hold fast and keep her as healthy a we can. SCARLETT FEVER 2 will again have a great line up of bands, There will be an artshow sponsored by ONE SHOT TATTOO with art work from some of the greatest tattoo artist and painters around. A huge raffle and auction with goodies from some of your favorite shops,Rock stars, car and bike parts, and tons of other great stuff.

GAMBINO KUSTOMS is getting ready to chop the top on the SCARLETT FEVER 54' chevy. We are building this car to take around to shows to promote Rett syndrome awareness. Some of the folks getting involved in the build are GAMBINO KUSTOMS, SKOTY CHOPS KUSTOMS, MIX AUTO APHOLSTERY & KIRKS WORKS.
This car is sure to be a show stopper.
