2009 May / "DOWNUNDERUN CORRONATION" / furne records 018 The Fithth album, written and recorded between "Worldressed Princess" sessions, a 7-month trip around Australia and my attempts to come back into the real life. Most of the song have been written in OZ. As this album deals with travels too, it's very close to "Worldressed Princess" but with more instruments. Always home-recorded, half the tracks are acoustic, the other half with drums.
2008 Oct / "LIMPIDE" (SPLIT 7'') / furne records 017 Petit entre-deux - et appartée en français - pour parler de ce split qui serait la compil idéale pour juger de la qualité de la folk anglophone-française. Je ne parle bien sûr pas de mes morceaux qui y figurent mais de ceux des artistes talentueux qui nous font le plaisir de jouer sur ce disque comme il jouerai dans notre salon : avec âme, conviction et surtout un sens incroyable de la mélodie.

Quintet originaire de Stockholm, pratiquant comme tout bon Suédois qui se respecte, un rock'n'roll hi-energy qui prend sa source dans le hard des années 70, Paperback Freud est bien plus qu'une révélation, c'est un futur classique !
La presse ne s'y trompe pas et leur album sera disque du mois dans le magazine "Rock Hard" de décembre et tous ceux qui ont pu les voir et les entendre sont unanimes, ce groupe ira très loin.
Comme si les Hellacopters jammaient avec les Datsuns et Airbourne pour sonner comme Motörhead, Thin Lizzy et AC/DC !!!
Les Suédois seront en France pour 3 dates au mois de décembre, ne les manquez pas lors de leur passage à La Boule Noire le jeudi 17 décembre 2009, la claque assurée ! Be there or be square !
