Tarrah Reynolds started her classical violin studies at seven and made her solo debut with a major symphony orchestra at the age of twelve. She was a competitor during her youth and received many top awards in local and national competitions. Tarrah was accepted into The Juilliard School's Undergraduate Program at the age of seventeen. She has been successful as a violinist in the classical field, but has also worked with artists such as D'Angelo, Maxwell, Kanye West, Jay-Z, the Gorillaz, Alicia Keys, Lauryn Hill, Mos Def, Harry Connick Jr., El DeBarge, Oleta Adams, Lalah Hathaway, Donnie McClurkin, The Clark Sisters, Whitney Houston, Imani Uzuri, Si*Se, Digg Deep, Tortured Soul, Monet and Tamar-Kali.
Over time, Tarrah inevitably developed the itch to sing and write her own music. She bought her first guitar at The Goodwill in 1999 and started teaching herself. The summer of 2005 is when Tarrah finally stepped out to play an open mic. She now performs extensively throughout the NYC area.
