Hi, I'm Barb Wright and I love music. I've recently been fooling around with the idea of writing it. So far...this is what I've come up with.
"Everything" was written for my boyfriend. I gave it to him as a present for our two year anniversary. I think it pretty much sums up how I feel about him. I love him! I had help from a friend at church with the contrabass (the violin sound), but everything else you hear on that track is me: vocals, keys, and pads.
"I Will Shine" was written for well...God. The recording on here is the first time I ever played it in front of an audience (at church). The band hadn't practiced the song before, so that's why the majority of the song is just me and my keys.
"Amazing Grace" was quite obviously NOT written by me. That track is from a performance I did in high school (2004). I'm being accompanied by Alton Haynes on the drums and Kerri Girton on the tamborine, along with backup vocals.
I currently have about three other songs in the works, so be on the lookout for those. I hope you enjoy what you hear!
