Born and raised in Barcelona, is one of the Dubcelona Crew founders (artists crew and events promoter from Barcelona since 1999), and one of the most veterans Dj..s of the emergent Spanish drum&bass scene.
He started into music production in 1999, with a Roland MC-303. In 2001 he released his first track on a d&b compilation called "Endemica". Under the alias "Undersoul", he produces downtempo and lounge beats.
In 2005 he released DUBZ.01, the firts compilation album from Dubcelona crew. A lounge compilation of downtempo, dub, and drum&bass beats, from dubcelona crew and some local producers.
In 2008 he starts with Maz his own music label, Digital Colours Recordings.
Bu has played at some of the most important clubs and festivals in spain, playing alongside such world-famous artist like: Scratch Perverts, Plus One, Smith & Mighty, Dj Vadim, Roni Size, Dillinja, Andy C, Hype, Adam F, Aphrodite, Fresh, J Majik, Grooveraider, Friction, Total Science, Calibre, Teebee, Klute, Shy Fx, Syncopix, Pendulum, BlackSunEmpire, Subfocus..
Actually he is one of the monthly resident djs at Blau Clun in gerona.
Es uno de los fundadores del colectivo de artistas y promotora de eventos Dubcelona. Sus primeros contactos con el jungle y drum&bass se remontan a mediados de los 90, pero no fue hasta finales de la década, cuando decide centrarse casi exclusivamente en el jungle y d&b. Dj Bu es uno de los representantes más veteranos de la emergente escena d&b nacional.
Su carrera como productor empieza a finales de los 90, con una Roland MC-303. En 2001 publica su primer tema en un álbum recopilatorio de drum&bass editado bajo el título de Endemica Vol.1. Bajo el alias Undersoul produce downtempo y lounge beats.
En 2005 edita junto a Dubcelona, el primer álbum recopilatorio del colectivo, DUBZ.01. Un trabajo con producciones propias y de otros productores locales que se desarrolla entre el hip hop, downtempo, dub y drum&bass.
En 2008 crea su propio sello junto a MaZ, Digital Colours Recordings.
Dj BU ha paseado su maleta por algunas de los clubs y festivales más importantes del país, actuando junto a artistas de la talla de Scratch Perverts, Plus One, Smith & Mighty, Dj Vadim, Roni Size, Dillinja, Andy C, Hype, Adam F, Aphrodite, Fresh, J Majik, Grooveraider, Friction, Total Science, Calibre, Teebee, Klute, Shy Fx, Syncopix, Pendulum, BlackSunEmpire, Subfocus, entre otros.
Actualmente es uno de los djs residentes en el Blau Club de gerona.
