It is true what they say GARGANTUAN things come out of small cities. Mistah Blinks aka The King of Slapps comes out of Pittsburg, California during the Hyphy Movement which garnered the likes of Keak da Sneak and Mac Dre. His personal influences are all the major producers such as Dr. Dre, Alicia Keys singer/songwriter abilities and Ludacris lyrical skills. Tupac is legendary status and remains in a classification all his own. The King of Slapps has been in the producing game for only a short period of time but had made a major impact here in the Bay Area.
Mistah Blinks is diverse in all genres of music which makes his production eclectic and diverse. In high demand from not only Bay Area artists but also some from out of state, and this is only from being one year into the game. Mistah Blinks realized in grade school he had an immediate connection with music early in his young adult life and has carried his passion through various outlets in his schooling. He first tried performing, which turned out well, however, his true devotion was in producing. He has performed in high school production and also has played the major role of sound engineer. The King of Slapps has worked with the like of many artists, mostly unsigned or artists on a growing label. As time goes on be on the look out for this major figure to explode on the music seen very soon until then enjoy the productions and look for the mixtapes.
