About me: Student at DIT Bolton St., and resident dj for RUBBERBAND & Acii Disco.
I started to dj in 2001 when I was given a set of decks as a very unexpected birthday present. Shortly thereafter I took on a project with some South African friends to run a night - Redemption at the Met Bar. It was here that my style developed - an upfront blend of house, electro and techno with the emphasis on keeping the energy flowing.
This night ran for about 4 months, and I then returned to mostly playing in my bedroom and at parties across the city until winning the Novadance Dj competition - run at Spirit in late 2003. Since then I've been a regular on the Dublin scene, guesting at nights such as Pogo, 12ten, Electric City, Mash Up, D'Lux & Neutronyx - playing in virtually every venue in the capital in a few short years. Currently I have a residency with Acii Disco & Rubberband and have previously resided at Mixed Salad & Hospital.
Also guested at various nights around the country - Vivamusic, Limerick; Soundhouse, Monaghan & Pulse, Letterkenny to name a few - played Electric Picnic, Life, Afterlife & Inisfox festivals -and have appeared on the same bill as international dj's such as Michael Mayer, Perc, Kriece, Mark Broom, Corvin Dalek, DJ Klang, Azzido Da Bass, Fabio, Derrick Carter, Dixon & Ame, Luke's Anger and many of Ireland's top DJ's / live acts.
Previously hosted a radio show every Sunday 6pm - 9pm on Frequency 94.9, also appeared on 2fm, Spin Fm, Anna Livia, Nova 94.7, Submusica (Brazil) and contribute to Slick DJ magazine.
