I have just released a new album through NYC's Tired Trails. It's an album of cover songs, stitched together in a beautiful book printed on recycled paper with banana leaf covers. Here are two albums I put out in December of 2006 under my real name, Bill Baird. I only made 300 of each, and I hand-cut and stapled them at Kinko's, which is why they looked so "home-made." Lots of papercuts for me. They each had large fold-out posters and were all numbered. All sold out. But I recently uploaded them to Other Music's digital store, so they live again!
The first disc contains folk and pop songs with a 4track experimental sensibility and it's called {{{ SUNSET }}} (the origin of the band name).

The other disc is called Silence! Here is the cover: It's an instrumental collection meant as a a companion piece to {{{ SUNSET }}}. This disc also explores spontaneity, but from the opposite direction. Where {{{SUNSET}}} playfully jumps "into the moment," Silence does so in a more contemplative manner. Many folks have told me they enjoy this disc more than any of my other recordings.
