MisterB's first CD "Wade in the River" has gotten lots of airplay on internet and college radio stations. The song, "Doo Wop Boys" became an instant hit with the doo wop community around the world. Two songs, "Lucky Stone" and "Doo Wop Boys" are appearing in the independent films, "Nostalgia" (movie & soundtrack) and "Suitcase Murphy".
Two songs from his new CD, "Just Like This" have received nominations by the LA Music Awards:
- "Thank U Bo Diddley" has been nominated as Hot Adult Contempory Single of 2009.
- "I Need Your Love" has been nominated as Americana Single of 2009.
Just dropped by for a listen. Hadn't been here for awhile. "Just like This" is such a sweet, innocent song, it's in my all time favorites list. I just love that song.
I checked several times at the LA Music awards site, and didn't see how your song did last year. I don't remember how to get back there now. How did your song do? I've got several new songs if you get time for a listen. I value your opinion and would welcome it if you get a chance to listen.
