Biography
Mr Mojo Band is a Tribute Band born in 2007 and formed by 4 elements, like the original band: lead vocals, keyboards, guitar and drums.
We want to propose the Doors songs keeping fidelity to studio recordings and trying to revive the psychedelic atmosphere of Doors music: our tracklist is continuously updated and you can have a look in the left section.
The band was born from the passion and love of the members for music of the '60 - '70 gold period and in particular for the jazz-psychedelic-rock style of the Doors band.
Biografia
Il nostro progetto musicale nasce nel 2007 dall'idea di Sergio Del Sesto (voce), Marco Del Bianco (chitarra) e Marco Narcisi (tastiera) di formare una band sulla scia del fenomeno delle Tribute Band.
Nel 2008, dopo vari avvicendamenti, al nucleo iniziale del gruppo si aggiunge Angelo Micoli (batteria) e il progetto prende forma definitiva: viene registrato un demo in presa diretta, completamente live, senza sovraincisioni, con Matteo Gagliardi al basso.
Le influenze e le esperienze musicali dei componenti sono diverse: jazz, rock, blues, hard rock, ma la band è unita dalla comune passione per la musica degli anni '60 - '70, in particolare per il jazz-rock psichedelico dei Doors, per il sound tipico della fine degli anni '60 della tastiera di Ray Manzarek e per il carisma teatrale di Jim Morrison.
Il repertorio viene riproposto con arrangiamenti e sound molto fedeli ai brani originali dei Doors, a partire dalla formazione che è la stessa dei Doors, priva cioè di bassista: tastiera, voce, chitarra, batteria.

Ad oggi uno dei locali più belli d'Italia, siamo molto orgogliosi di suonare li. Faremo un grande show con video suggestivi e rarità di Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, e la grande Summer of Love di Woodstock 1969. Un pittore dipingerà durante l'esibizione, ed un ospite molto speciale interpreterà con gran talento e comicità 3 Stars che hanno fatto la storia del Rock. NON MANCATE!

My mission in life is to fight Human Trafficking. understanding the individual pain of others is sometimes to painful for an other individual to touch and that is frightening ...what i mean is that someone whose life is not traumatized and brutalized as a regular sequence of every day events unconsciously seeks the camouflage and shelter of apathy and banality from the reality of such devastating anguish and terror ...but the spirit of young people who are used as sex slaves in the systematized global industry of human trafficking is now reaching out to the human fellowship in hope and desperation and through technology ...it is scary when humanity turns a blind eye to this horror ...its like ignoring genocide whilst it is happening ...what i am asking is that if you hear the cry of these young people who are existing in an environment of torture and brutality each and every day that you then please do not turn away from them ...please reach deeply into your heart and soul and please in 2009 join a movement or become a part of an event that challenges modern slavery in the 21st century ...
