Mister Mac's Interests
|
| General | I mostly do pirate parties and events. I have actually walked the plank three times. Once off the Star of India (a dream come true) and twice off the Spirit of Dana Point at Oceanside Harbor Days (see my photo album. My plan is to record a CD of my original pirate songs soon with the help of me mates in San Diego. I have been to 15 states Since January 1st, 2008 and swam in the Pacific, the Atlantic, and the Gulf of Mexico. I spent a couple weeks in Ecuador and then sailed to Panama City. I have traveled over 22,000 miles and I am going to put on another 12,000 as this year goes on. Currently I work with Robin St. Graves doing work for metal castings and I also am playing shows at faires and fests. I will be at Contraband Days next week and then Big Bear and Norcal in June. Also Ojai, Oceanside Harbor Days, and more. | | Music | Yes, U2, Rush, Dire Straits, Blue Oyster Cult, Depeche Mode, Deep Purple, Simple Minds, Emerson, Lake, & Palmer, Oingo Boingo, and Gustav Holst. | | Movies | Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory ("I got a golden ticket"), Ben-Hur ("God help me!"), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang ("It's the posh, posh traveling life, the traveling life for me."), Better Off Dead ("Where's my two dollars?"), The 5th Element ("Negative. I am a meat popsicle"), Ghostbusters (I not II), Volunteers ("Wake up and smell the river!"), Coming to America ("Joe Louis's the greatest fighter that ever lived"), The Black Stallion, Dances with Wolves, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Shane, The Star Wars saga (but I don't like Jar-Jar), Whale Rider, Planet of the Apes (original) and, of course, POTC 1 and 2 (but 3 sucked...in my humble opinion). The greatest scene in ANY movie is when the Riders of Rohan smash thru the orcs in The Return of the King...AWESOME! Best movie line is from Wargames...."I'd piss on a sparkplug if I thought it'd help." Honorable Mention (Ghostbusters): "Do you believe in UFOs, astral projections, mental telepathy, ESP, clairvoyance, spirit photography, telekinetic movement, full trance mediums, the Loch Ness monster and the theory of Atlantis?"
"Uh, if there's a steady paycheck in it, I'll believe anything you say." | | Television | Newsradio (one of the best written and best acted shows ever...Phil Hartman and Stephen Root...it doesn't get any better than that. Also, The Simpsons, Mythbusters, Jimmy Neutron, Survivorman, Family Guy, Heroes, Futurama, Fairly Odd Parents, Star Trek:TNG, Farscape, Babylon 5 (so I am a geek...aren't we all?), and Law and Order. | | Books | What? You assume I am literate? Okay, best book I ever read...Bram Stoker's "Dracula".
| | Heroes | My brother Joe who is responsible for me continuing to be the man that I am. Phyllis is my bestest friend in the whole wide world. My son, Brandon, who is just a great guy. Sarah G. Why? Because she inspires me. She has more talent in her little finger than most of us have in our entire being. She is smart and talented. Don't ever squander it or take it for granted, my young padawan apprentice. Oh yeah, and Captain Picard, Tarzan, and Obi-wan Kenobi. |

About me:
Check out my other website!
Ahoy mateys! I be the plank walkin'est pirate ever to shiver a timber. I used to be the most notorious pirate down in San Diego, California and then I spent a few months in Clearwater, Florida working on Captain Memo's Pirate Cruise. After spending the hot and humid summer in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina I then went to Miami, Florida where I made some great friends and even played with a new band, The LaTeRs. I traveled to Ecuador which I liked a lot. I want to return there soon. After fourteen states and four countries it is time to go home to Southern California for a bit. I guess it is all a part of the great adventure! I also work freelance as a pirate entertainer, mainly doing kid's birthday parties and other events. It is a blast!
Check out my photo albums of some of my events and, of course, check out my personal website for even more. BOOSH is my son. Phyllis is my bestest buddy and Alyssia is my niece
