To make a long story quite short:
Mister Vague plays a curious combination of dark dive bars and brightly lit coffeehouses all over the West Coast. The songs are a stewpot of influences not well represented in homebase Reno's neon-rock world -- 70s confession-folk, 80s Midwest post-punk, 90s minimalist indie, and a dose of NYC noise skronk.
