"The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves, “Gee, I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire, but I’m just not close enough to get the job done!”"

About me: I've been a musician for most of my life, playing bass and guitar. For a long time, I played in Rachael's Surrender and I do the odd tour with Mercurine. I've also released albums with Garden of Dreams and Bale, and appeared on releases from Dalet-Yod, Emilie Autumn and Soulscape. You might notice some guy who looks like me named St. Michael "Gunther" Lustie playing with a band called The Lusties - dude's a prick. He stole my wallet, my girlfriend and beat the hell out of me.
I'm a big geek - I can tell you who played saxophone on some obscure '80s new wave album, but can't tell you my phone number without a minute to think about it... I like to go to live shows and dance, which is unusual in Chicago - most live audiences show their appreciation by crossing their arms and perhaps nodding an inch or so in rhythm... By day, I build websites, since it's kinda hard to pay the bills with music. Because of all this activity, I don't sleep much. Yay, coffee! I'm always looking for drummers. (Spinal Tap was accurate, in the dummer respect.) I like to think Big Thoughts and talk about Big Issues. Or, you know, watch zombie flicks and drink beer. :)
Who I'd like to meet: Cool people who aren't ruled by their drama and can hold a conversation. People who geek out about music as much as I do. People who like to go to rock shows and dance clubs. Drummers.
This man is so hardcore Greg Dulli had to stop an Afghan Whigs show to take a moment to acknowledge his drinking skills with a bout of laughter.. Awesome.

It's great to have you as a friend! JB & I and the whole JBTV Staff are very happy to have had you performed here @ our studio! The show will air nexts week!
But of course! I remember going to your house and your parents were having an asian dinner and everyone sat on the floor with no shoes. I also remember taking pictures with your red bass? at a cemetery. Was it your bass?
