A banda foi formada no início de 2002, e tem como propósito tocar metal unindo várias influências dos mais diferentes estilos, dentre eles: “Black / Death / Thrash e Gothic / Metal”, resultando em um estilo próprio. Suas composições abordam temas obscuros, medievais e a subjetividade, tudo somado a fortes riffs, belas passagens de teclados e vocais agressivos.
O MIST OF ETERNITY tem registrado vários shows no Piauí e Maranhão.
No final de 2005 o MIST OF ETERNITY lançou sua 1°demo oficial intitulada “Immerse in the Valley of Shadows” a mesma possui 6(seis) faixas que traduz toda a atmosfera da banda através das musicas e das letras. Um trabalho totalmente original e que tem rendido ótimos frutos.
Atualmente, com a renovação do seu line-up, a banda está compondo e preparando o que será o seu primeiro cd oficial. As expectativas são que até o primeiro semestre de 2008 este trabalho esteja pronto.
