Music
I cannot even begin to list artists that I respect. I have varied taste in music that ranges from Indie Rock/Punk to Jazz/Classical. I guess if I had to pick my favorite genre it would have to be Indie Rock. I am averse to the "Majors" ( Major labels that put out cookie cutter crap and try to control all music media as to brainwash the public into believeing they actually like crap!)

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Hyperion ( and anything else by Dan Simmons), Anias Ninn, Kahlil Gibran, Aldous Huxley, Stephen King, Anne Rice (Pre-born again status), anything I can get into in the catagory of Philosophy, Religion, Metaphysics, Music, some Poetry, a bit of Sci-Fi and a small amount of well written dramatic fiction.
Heroes
Those who fight the mundane, those who LIVE the music, those who think for themselves instead of being led around blindly by th media.......oh yeah...and anyone with super powers ;)

Who I'd like to meet: Musicians, artists, sound engineers and basically anyone who can wax philosophical and keep a rhythm!
Rhythm /'rith-um/ n 1. an ordered recurrent alteration of strong and weak elements in the flow of sound and silence in speech.
2. a: the aspect of music comprising all the elements (as accent, meter and tempo) that relate to forward movement.

I'm doing good. How about yourself? So how's life in Chapel Hill treating you? Everything in Nashville is pretty good. I'm going to take my Police Officer exam on August 29th, than after that If I do good on the test I will be off to Police academy. So I looking forward to that. How's your mom doing? We are also happy to introduce your fellow '...Citizen...', Ms. Kat Solomon (http://www.myspace.com/katsolomon), as the overall Coordinator for the Poetry Writing Initiative/s. Ms. Solomon is a Poet in her own rights and is a fun person to work with.
Each Book of Poetry shall be themed-based on some of the present Global Challenges, e.g., Environment, Energy Conservation, Health and Wellness, Hunger, Peace/Wars, Family Well-Being matters such as Child/Spousal Abuse, and etc. The proceeds from the books' shall constitute one of the many envisioned mechanisms for establishing and raising an '...INBEAT Global Fund...' ( Those of you that want to know more about the purposes of this '...Fund...' should read past postings, or, contact Kat or E.N.)
Writers that want to partake in this effort should contact Ms. Solomon. There will be some form of financial compensation for participating writers from Books' sales. The percentage of compensation will be determined in due course by "...The INBEAT Community...' at large.
